Not in my experience, having worked there. It’s a massive amount of walking to get all the way to the African section. You have to go out of the way to see wombats and the aviary, and another direction for devils and dingoes. Easily a full day experience.

Curious why Australia Zoo over other zoos around the country? Is it the possibility of the Irwin’s being on site?

I take most house huntsmans outside, but leave the occasional one to take a few mozzies out. Helpful critters.

It's not the wholehearted, joyful unity and celebrations I had in the US. One of my favourite memories is 4th July fireworks in Maine over the Atlantic at night.

Why do I see the misspelling of Frasier to ‘Frazier’ so often on here? It’s bizarre.

It might be coincidence, but I started ovulating again a few months after trying IVF. The IVF procedure failed, but I fell pregnant naturally on a super long cycle about 5 months later. However, I was also following No Period Now What - less exercise, rest, more fats.

True, especially with this particular case. I mean to a certain extent, as an expat it's easier to use the American word or phrase to be understood and blend it. Gets very tiring otherwise. But 'fanny' was an exception 😬 at least in my own experience!

I wish I had given a thought to any of this in my 20’s! Neither my partner or I had financial literacy growing up. Would be great if it was a mandatory class in high school or uni.
