Does anyone know how long the strikes will last?

I love the cat picture at the end.šŸ˜‚

My one initial piece of advice would be to start a detailed search now for off campus housing if youā€™re starting up in fall 2024 as affordable places that are pet friendly are competitive

This is the first thing that came up on my Reddit feed when I opened the app just now. I donā€™t know whether to be deeply disturbed or laughing hysterically.šŸ˜‚

Iā€™m always down for more friends! My name is Jessica, age 22, and Iā€™ll graduate in December 2024 from the Woodring Elementary Education program. I love Taylor Swift & country music, also pop throwback songs. I like coffee/caffeine and cocktails & seltzers!

By chance, was the graffiti purple and on the Carver Gym building, facing the Ridge? If so, I was working in Carver as a custodian, and on break one day two cops came by and said someone reported graffiti, and was wondering if we had seen it. This was probably 3-4ish weeks ago.

I took C2C (my first year, fall 2019) and I donā€™t drive, but I was able to carpool with someone in the class since I got placed at a school in Seedro-Wooley.

AB Crepes downtown! Also Boulevard Park (it also has a Woodā€™s CoffeešŸ˜‰) and Whatcom Falls Park.

Just a note, whatever country youā€™re planning to go to, check their requirements for expiration dates. Some countries have a rule where if your passport expires within the next 6 months, you canā€™t enter, some have a 2 months rule, and some just say it has to valid at time of entry. Just an fyi on the topic of passports.šŸ˜Š

Congratulations!!!šŸ’Ŗā˜€ļøšŸ’žšŸ„³

Freshens on the WWU campus is a great option :)

I have ADHD, and if you need a friend type of support, my DMs are always opened. Feel free to reach out anytime.šŸ’™

My DMs are always opened if you need someone to talk to.ā¤ļø You are not alone in whatever it is that youā€™re struggling with.šŸ©·

As someone else mentioned, make sure the alcohol is all out of your system when you cross the border back into the US. That being said, I recommend Brownā€™s Socialhouse :)

If you ever do a story on Philosophy 102, I would definitely be up for talking about my experiences, as I know thatā€™s also one of the most failed classes at wwu.

This may sound weird, but lately Iā€™ve been seasoning my rice with soy sauce, lime juice, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder.

My stateā€™s cut off date was August 31st, and my birthday is September 10th. I think my parents had the choice to either have me take a test and then if I passed, I could go in to Kindergarten ā€œearlyā€, or Iā€™d be held back and be one of the oldest in my class. I used to think ā€œoh, Iā€™ve made so many good friends in K-12, and Iā€™m still good friends with them now, itā€™s great I went in early.ā€, however I am no longer friends with any of them now. BUT, I do strongly believe me entering Kindergarten and being 4 for a few days was the right decision. Iā€™m high school grad class of 2019, and if my parents had held me backā€¦I wouldā€™ve been class of 2020, and had my high school grad ā€œceremonyā€ be online. Everything really does happen for a reason, and I have no doubts you will make the right decision.

Not sure if this is helpful, but me and my boyfriendā€™s total rent (rent + $40 utility fee) is $1425 for a one-bedroom apartment. We pay $40-$90 for PSE electric, and I think $30 for WiFi. Not sure if that is average though. (walking distance from campus)

Exactly. Me too. It ranges from $4.65 - $5.30 where I am. I donā€™t even drive, but Iā€™m outraged on otherā€™s behalfs.

Thatā€™s so cute! Little unexpected gifts like that are the best :)

This is such a wholesome post! Glad you had a good driver!šŸ’œ
