Why not use an axe or a wedge? Genuine question? Are these just for safety?

Not even close - that is the point of the lottery. I’ve hiked AL more than a dozen times and several times in lottery years. The ‘line’ in this photo is just people at the summit just hanging out taking it all in

It actually isn’t far off from the view coming out of the Peruvian tunnel into Mineral Basin at snowbird

How were they making a lightening rod? By standing there together?

Ok I think I found what is causing this. Again the mystery here is it starts after many hours of hottttt burning. Here is my theory, what’s happening is when I engage the catalytic combustor once the stove it hot enough (the manual gives a heat range of when to engage the combustor) after a few hours of combustor use, the chimney cools since the combustor is keeping the heat in the stove (doing its job). Solution is to open the bypass every hour or so to keep the chimney hot.

Haha I suspect you didn’t see the last photo?

10 seconds of work and $100,000 of capital and the cost and time of getting there and back plus the cost of the operators time plus the maintenance of the machine, the trailer, and truck that got it there

Comfortably is hard to define without knowing you but I’d say $200k, that’s get you a 4-5 bedroom house two cars and enough left over to save a little

For real. I’m so sick of crowd work vids

It’s the initials of my wife and my two daughters

I had mine fixed by a reglar glass chain, it cracked a few months later. $1,500 later I have a new windshield. When this happened to me only Rivian could replace the windshield
