We exist!! I don’t vibe with very trad Catholics but also don’t have much in common with cultural Catholics either…I consider myself a normal Catholic. It’s just too bad there aren’t more of us my age in my area :/

Father Mike Schmitz and his podcast are phenomenal. He does a great job at understanding the context of the passages and breaking it down in a meaningful way.

Yessss this is the best one. It’s so beautiful, and it connects my faith with my emotions 💜

A new camera (Sony A7Riii). I’m so hyped to use it. My old camera is almost 10 years old and the battery is failing on top of the viewfinder not working. 💯worth it, especially for when I go to Europe this summer 😁

Whenever I crash at his condo, he stays at his parents because he’s very respectful of my boundaries. He stocks the fridge with my fav snacks/foods, makes sure I always have clean sheets, and fresh towels and cooks me my favourite meals.

I mentioned that the towels are a bit small for my long hair but I didn’t mind and he noticed I wasn’t drinking as much water. He asked why so I just said I’ll drink tap water but it’s not my favourite. What does he do? The next time I came over he had extra large towels stacked in the closet and a water filter in the fridge. While these things may seem minor, I was genuinely so touched that he went to go get those things to make me a little more comfortable.

He even got me a portable heating pad belt that I can use at work or if I’m out so it eases my discomfort during that time of the month. His thoughtfulness is one of the reasons I fell in love with him.

I was an altar server at my parish for about 10 years and it is one of the reasons my faith is so integral to my life now. Without that experience, I can’t say I would have the same connection. Girls should absolutely not be discouraged from something that can like you said enrich their faith/ spiritual growth.

Touring Europe AdviceQuestion

Hey all! My friend and I were looking at a tour in Europe from G Adventures in late August (trains and tapas). It goes to Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France and Monaco. However, they don’t guarantee air conditioning in their accommodations (it seems like none of them will have it). I know Italy and Spain especially are so hot in the summer months and I cannot sleep if a room is too hot. Does anyone know of any tour companies that guarantee air conditioning in their itineraries when it comes to accommodations? Idk if this is an unusual request, I just know we won’t have a good time if neither of us can sleep. Or is it just better to plan / book our own tour so we can filter for that ourselves. We are both not confident driving in Europe, so a rental car is out of the question and we’d be looking at getting a train pass. And insight/ advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hair routine: wash with shampoo and conditioner every three days. Minimal heat usage. I use leave in conditioner after washing it and detangle it both before and after washing. I use a hair mask once a month (by Biolage).

I’m Italian Canadian too and same thing at my church! No pushing or line-butting. Everyone waits their turn patiently.

I updated the description. Forgot to include the lenses in the post 🙃

Hi all! I just recently purchased a Sony A7Riii and I’m looking for a zoom lens. I want something really sharp that will also be great for carrying around. I travel often as well as will be shooting events in the future so I’m having a hard time deciding between the two. Price isn’t really a huge deal here because they are similar in price point. Any recommendations? EDIT: the two are sigma 24-70mm ART OR or 28-70mm sigma.

I don’t feel the need. My most recent ex was a sweet man, just had a lot of unresolved issues that I couldn’t handle. We wouldn’t have been compatible long term. My current bf is a sweetheart in addition to having so many qualities I’m looking for in a partner that I realize how lucky I am that someone like him exists.

I take a few lenses (especially my 35) because I have fixed prime lenses but I’m looking into getting a 24-70mm 2.8 lens which will be more convenient for travelling.

As many others have pointed out, number 3 is just simply not true.

I’ve had an A6000 for about 8 years and I’ve used it for travelling/special events and have loved it. It’s lightweight and compact and gets some really beautiful shots (depending on the lenses you use). There is an article to compare the lineup if you want a newer model, https://m.dpreview.com/articles/6975583891/sony-a6000-a6100-a6300-a6400-a6500-a6600-what-s-the-difference-and-which-should-i-buy), but I really like the A6000. It’s a nice starter camera (you can get a used one for a good price).

Gear for my expensive hobbies (photography and travel). Prices for good lenses/ accessories and plane tickets are insane! But yes an investment in my mental health lol

I have a 35mm and a 50mm that I consistently use
