What's your budget? Littmann-Brand stethoscopes are the best! I think they start around $65

Mine was in a nursing home, also. Sadly, similar ratio. I lasted 6 weeks.

I do, if I don't take my meds in time. When I start vomiting, I have to take a suppository to stop. I know it sounds gross, but it's the only thing that works

Just to clarify, Your son is 6 months old?

Someone told me to always bring an extra catheter when straight cathing. This way you don't have to break the sterile field when you miss. If you get the catheter in the vagina, leave it in (temporarily) and place another above it. You can use the incorrectly placed catheter as a landmark.

NTA, but be careful. If your boyfriend is a people-pleaser, she may ask him herself.

I second this. In emergencies, I take some Benadryl to help sleep. Doesn't always work, but it's worth a try.

I am curious. . . .Do you work at a Christian-associated hospital?

Try Facebook marketplace. I have found all sorts of things there!

Brooks. I believe they are marketed as a running shoe, but they are soooo comfortable to wear for a long day on my feet.

One of the triggers for my migraines can be skipping a meal. Not intentionally, but if I am in a hurry, and don't eat when I am due, my head starts pounding a few hours later. Sadly, when I realize what's going on and finally do eat, the food comes right back up, and I make myself even more sick ๐Ÿ˜•

Revelation 22:18 (almost the very last verse of the Bible). "I am warning everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. Suppose someone adds to them. Then God will add that person to the plagues of this book ."

Fortunately, I was single, with no kids, when I worked nights, so I had flexibility. I FORCED myself to sleep during the day by doing the following:

  1. Foil on the windows + black-out curtains. (Yes, it looks very tacky, but it was the only thing that seemed to keep the room dark).

  2. Fan blowing during the day to block out any external noise.

  3. Ear plugs while sleeping

  4. Eye mask while sleeping

  5. TWO Benadryl after each shift

  6. Always work 3 in a row. (I never did this when I worked days, but it helps when working nights).

I NEVER planned anything during the day, as many others do. Hope this helps!

Talk to the billing dept at the hospital

As crazy as it sounds, I think I only had 2 migraines my entire pregnancy. . . I remember being in your shoes. . .being so scared at the thought of having a migraine and being told to just take Tylenol. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Praying you have a similar pregnancy.

Aura that causes your right side to go numb? Sounds like a PFO. Ask your provider about getting tested

They need to go thru mail order

Killing a baby is different than Killing a plant or even an animal

This is the way! I got mine at Dollar Tree and it was accurate for me!

Have you guys taken a Dave Ramsey class together? My husband and I did this before we got married and I am so glad we did. We always went out to eat before the class and viewed it as our date night activity.
