This literally happened to me this week, lol. One of the other fans I bought came with a spare. I didn't know until I opened the other box. Before I found the extra cable, I ended up using electrical tape to hold it in place, and it seemed to work.
I tried to install my mount today, but my case( nv5) is angled at the bottom and it won't sit properly :(
How did you get it to fit securely? The bottom of the case is angled and doesn't seem to lock into place.
