How about ferries to other islands where you bring your car? Planning to go from Mandoudi to Skopelos in late June

Two weeks for Athens + road trip through Mycenae, Olympia and Delphi, roughly 4-5 days for skopelos

I am planning to go in June with my husband and daughter! I wasn’t completely sure if we should - we have some relatives there I’ve never met and I’ve never been to Greece. Thinking of spending maybe 5 days at the end of our trip there

Athens, Pelopponese, Sporades

Yια σας! Planning a three week trip to Greece with three days in Athens, a side trip to Hydra for a few days, road trip through the Peloponnese (Mycenae, Olympia, then up to Delphi, back east to Agios Konstandi), and possibly the last five days in the Sporades.

Have one kid (7 years old). I’m wondering if this itinerary makes sense or if it’s too much. Should we spend longer in Athens and cut out Hydra? Cut out Olympia? Cut out the Sporades all together? Also looking for kid-friendly adventures at along the way.

Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

The dry fried green beans is yummy as is the eggplant!

What should I make first?

Like try finding a nice outdoor pool in Seattle vs tons in Vancouver for example

Not my experience having grown up in Vancouver and now living in Seattle. My quality of healthcare in Canada was always good to great. In US it’s ok but costs $$$ which my company pays for, but quality is either the same or they are doing unnecessary things to get money from the insurance. Taxes in Canada are high but you have better public services (parks and Rec, libraries, etc) also. Trade offs.

I use the Mark Bittman recipe on nyt and often adapt for just duck legs and it’s always come out amazing. Have you tried that one? It’s simple and foolproof.

I made the baked milk but it didn’t really work for me! I don’t think I made anything else from it 🫠

What did you make from beyond the north wind? I have it but haven’t used it much

That said, hang dry in Japan especially closer to winter is surprisingly effective. The air is really dry in winter with low humidity.

It’s the only one and although I read through I haven’t made anything yet.

The recipes are either from the authors or their books, seems to depend.
