Swing Kids stick out the most to me
Josh Brolin in Goonies
The songs….. omg…. There is so much to pull from Chicago bands, heck I would even take just midwestern period…. Give me a Naked Raygun song already.
Luckily I live in Texas so I auto revert to “y’all”….. that will only be my cancelled by my northeastern family members

The feeling that we were progressing as a society
The only thing I remember about this show is some old lady in a scene turning to one of the then and saying “and I thought you people were supposed to be jolly!”

One of the things that can’t be overlooked is they also looked really good too…. They are one of those bands that had a spin on the hardcore image at the time, incorporating britpop fashion into traditional 90s hardcore fashion.
I still know the words to the Picture Page theme song
Gary also relies on the shows income. NC means no show
I have always loved the GB Ep over Start Today

“Where are my babies?!?!?”
I was in NYC clubs at 15 years old. Even the punk shows I would go to always had some sketchy things happening…… I can’t imagine a 15 yo nowadays in any of the situations or able to get away with any of it
THUKs cover of The Cure Close to Me is one of my favorite covers ever
What’s your favorite cover you seen done by a hardcore band?
