Looks like a lock fixed to the swing arm and locks into the sprocket? I’ve never seen this before.

Is this correct OP?

Not certain, but it could be for the centre stand to rest against. The new mid pipe might be closer to it than the OEM pipe.

And don’t do it last minute. Allow for Bpay and bank transfer processing timeframes.

No mention of how far they are through the list. Might be at the end by tomorrow

I tried using a hangman solver. No possible words for me, and I used a few different combinations for the unknown letters.

Power outlets, power receptacles, electrical outlets, wall sockets, etc.

I also immediately thought of power point presentations, and their effectiveness to discipline babies

It’s not sped up. There’s another comment with more footage for the lead up to the crash. Passenger exclaims “stop stop stop” with the audio and footage played in real time.

This copy pasta’d comment has the date of the 13th at the foot of the statement, BUT if you open the https://www.medisecure.com.au/ homepage and see the statement, it now says the 16th. Did they change it?

If the property is still occupied when you attend the pre settlement inspection, insist on coming back when it’s empty (this is assuming it’s a vacant possession). You’ll want a clear view of everything and full access to all parts of the property.

Sounds like a low side. Very sudden type of crash. The right leg being trapped underneath has got me stumped a little bit. The bike or you could have spun around, or you could have rolled over while sliding on the ground.

This video describes a “low side” in the first half and briefly describes some of the causes. Google how to avoid a low side if you want to learn more.

The gloves is also a common trait amongst new riders. As you’ve mentioned, it’s not ideal. After my first year or riding, I transitioned gradually to the full fingered glove and never looked back.

It happens to riders of all levels of experience.

If you can’t recollect anything at all, I can ask some questions to narrow down some of the possible reasons.

Even one or two key bits of info could help with future improvement. Eg, could have been a case of target fixation.

  1. Left or right hand turn?
  2. Did you fall to the left or right? I.e. which side of the bike got damaged?
  3. Does the corner get tighter as you get further into the turn? (Can be verified on Google maps)
  4. Did you your feet/footpeg/bike touch the ground whilst in the turn? Or perhaps hit a bump or have anything slippery on the road surface?
  5. Do you remember where your eyes were focused?
  6. Do you remember if you had made an attempt to brake, mid corner? Or roll off the throttle mid corner?

“Caution, you’re trying to caution me? Well Little Alex Horne you’re going to see, this rap is gonna act like a diuretic, because right now you’re being pretty pathetic”

Yes, but make a note in your calendar of your settlement date. The remaining deposit, plus other stuff like fees, conveyancer fees, disbursements (rates, strata, etc) will be itemised in a email, which should be sent from the conveyancer 5-7 days prior to settlement. It has all the instructions you’ll need.

From this point on, you mainly deal with your conveyancer, not the agent. This includes any communication or discussion about the property you need to raise.

You’ll also need to arrange a pre-settlement inspection just before settlement. This is to go through the property just before the settlement date to ensure it’s all up to scratch. I believe you arrange this through the agent about 5 days prior to settlement. They will go through the property with you. If you find any issues, you note them down and then communicate via the conveyancer. Google has plenty of info on this.

Your desired top case brand (Givi, Shad, Chinesium) may come with an adapter plate. The adapter bolts to your existing rack, so that the box can be locked on. This solution is universal but is not a clean look for your install. If you plan on leaving the case on the bike 24/7, it will be hidden anyway.

Next option is modifying your existing rack/plate to directly accept a top case. If you are handy and have a drill, you can buy a kit with hardware that you install yourself. Something like this.

Don’t go overboard with the overall weight, unless you have a specified weight capacity for the existing rack.

Yeah when we got flipped we got disoriented. We’re western now.

Can’t believe I forgot this! Good call, it should have been my first point

I’ve also been down this road but have always settled for the home brand powder because of the vast price difference IMO.

I have three recommendations for you to try to improve the dishwasher performance (if you haven’t already):

  1. Sprinkle powder on the door or inside the machine, in addition to the powder being loaded in the normal powder dispenser.

  2. Buy a dishwasher cleaner from Woolies and follow the directions.

  3. Check the drain pipe for the dishwasher is properly installed, in such a way that it cannot suck in dirty water from the adjacent kitchen sink. This video sums it up nicely.
