Agreed. Nothing against Price, I can’t be upset that he would accept an honorary degree and I love him so I think it’s cool that he’s being recognized, but doctorate students go through SO much to get their degree and it feels very insulting that schools give out honorary degrees like that. If you’re going to give out awards of recognition that’s fine, but call it something else, people go through a lot to earn the doctorate title.

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, acupuncture has no scientific backing to it. People can do it if they want, but they should be aware that the only thing that it might do is to be a placebo for your issues.

Any recommendations on how to make the base face shape? I always struggle with modeling that doesn’t use simple shapes

It’s only “expected” that this would occur if all teams had equal chances in those scenarios. I’d argue that this likely means Montreal has been better than average.

Cooper has only ever missed the playoffs twice and one of those seasons was the season he was promoted to the NHL in and only coached 16 games. In the last ten years, he has three first round losses (probably adding a fourth soon), two conference final losses, two Stanley cup final losses, and two Stanley cup wins. He’s a hall of fame coach and has an amazing record in his entire tenure with Tampa. There’s no way they’d drop him for two consecutive first round exits and if they did he’d be snatched up so quickly.

Have you tried cleaning the build plate with soap and water? That usually resolves any lifting for me.

That’s because he is taller than Gallagher and Caufield. He’s just short for a defenseman.

Good to see him back on his Brendan Urie haircut. Looks much better on him than the Michael Jackson look he had before.

This is one of those threads that I look back on to make sure that I didn’t make myself look stupid. Unfortunately that is not the case here.

I doubt it. Some teams have guys who are putting up well over 100 points on their first line. I personally don’t see any of our top line players becoming 100+ point players. I could maybe see Suzuki reach 90 but even that I doubt, I think Caufield will improve his goal scoring but I don’t think he’ll ever be over a point per game and if he does I don’t think it’ll be by much, and Slafkovsky is still a big question mark. His potential is high but I still don’t really see him over a point per game. If they all reach their peak, maybe you could consider them one of the best lines, but realistically I think they will just be very good.

It’s impressive but considering Slafkovsky has been 19 since March 30, 2023, the comparison is pretty unfair. From what I can tell, the numbers are also just wrong. The more accurate comparison is that Slafkovsky has had 17:39 as a 19 year old which is still impressive. It slots him at 21st behind Crosby (20:46), Kopitar (20:32), McDavid (20:25), Stamkos (19:28), Eichel (19:05), Hughes (19:04), Landeskog (18:56), Nugent-Hopkins (18:55), Duchene (18:48), Toews (18:40), P. Kane (18:38), Skinner (18:37), Carlsson (18:22), Hall (18:21), Staal (18:16), Raymond (18:15), Pettersson (18:13), Keller (18:05), Tavares (18:00), and E. Kane (17:52).

Thanks man, I do have some goalie equipment, just never got the confidence to push myself to start because I wasn’t really sure how.

Any advice for someone in their late 20s with no hockey experience on how to get into playing?
