I am from more worrisome area of Earth. Poeple do not pick berries areas where they discover fresh evidnce of foxes. Just to avoid watching their kids suffer due fox tapeworm.

Do not forget parasites and diseases they spread. Like tapeworms, rabies and especially fox tapeworm which may be lethal to humans. And is a problem in some parts of the World.

So, RDP will be de facto standard of remote desktop access despite efforts of creating something different. Although it is proprietary and licensing part seems to be kind difficult for open source implementations.

Docker image and mqtts

I have kind of weird problem, I guess that it is some kind of personal blindness, but to the point. I have created personal setup which uses mosquitto as mqtt broker.
Mosquitto setup is fine, mosquitto_(pub|sub) are working and paho-mqtt 1.60 is connecting as client.
Home Assistant refuses to set up mqtt using secure connection. Initial setup allows only insecure connections and re-configure mentioned in documentation does not provide any advadnced settings (maybe I am looking from wrong location). And I seem to fail find any information for editing config manually. I haven’t looked at source code as lazy (some_popular.gif). I guess it is some trivial issue and someone here knows the answer how to enable mqtts.

Novot, here we go. Projekteerijate Maja was probably under construction almost a decade. Olümpia was built bit faster, so it dates older picture to 70es.

Newer picture definitely dates to end of 2023 or 2024 as Arter kvartal buildings have glass on them.
But as it was pointed out then Projekteerijate maja seems to be existing in some state on older picture but was completed on 1982. How long construction took?
Because Olümpia hotell was completed on 1980 for Moscow olympics and definitely should be visible right of current Ministry of Foreign Affairs building.

No Olümpia hotell on older picture.
And I do not see Projekteerijate maja which was mentioned in Estonina comments. Should be visible on the right of Tallinna raekoda.
So older picture is made before 1980. Which makes period between pictures bit longer than 40 years.

I can relate to that. For home desktop I use Arch. Installation from 2014. For work I use Fedora.
Reason is that maintainig all multimedia sofware what has some restictions has been horrible. I have tried it times and times but software maintenance is hard. Thanks to all package maintainers for their hard work which have allowed me to have more relahed user experience.

There are better ways to share code. Taking picture of your monitor is worst one. Using Alt+PrScr/Win+Shift+S is better but still picture. It is hard to read text from screenshots. And copy/paste/comment is definitily even harder. Great is to share text in form of text. There are GitHub Gist, Pastebin and others. Put your code there, share link and The World could be much better place. Remark: you do not believe how annoying is to debug something from console screenshots in chats :) But as you just started then it is understandable that there is much to learn.

Very powerful computer. So much memory. So much hertzes.

Ah, damn. Not so much. P4 was back then very GHz.

Rpi in 2005. You have took some interesting items to the past.

Lot of drinking. Not working. All fun. All hazy. Switched to Linux. Got a job because of that.

Came here to report it fake as no saunas. Was not disppointed.

X220 is great little machine. Still using it for work. Only things what make it complain are browser applications. Javascript is heavy load. Too heavy.
