MOVE photos and videos into separate folders/albums. Yes, MOVE, I don‘t want to have them in the camera roll after I assigned them to an album/folder.
Compared to a desktop environment, I'm dissatisfied with pretty much every mobile app in existence when it comes to file structures. It's a fair portion of why I don't do any video work on my iPad in spite of it being fairly capable with decent apps like LumaFusion. iOS/iPadOS just aren't good at file management. I'm not sure what it's like on modern Android, but my version 10 experience there wasn't really much better.
The poll doesn't specify genre, though, so I can't really blame anybody for voting however they want. (even if I'd never vote for Friends)
Because for some people (not you or me), it's like television comfort food.
Yeah, there's a host of diseases, injuries, and other conditions listed in the prospective blood donor questionnaire.
Definitely. I should have specified the on-screen aspect that more people were exposed to.
On that note, Lord of the Rings has some of the best on-screen masculine friendships.
For every joke about Frodo and Sam, there are characters like Aragon, Boromir, Gimli, and Legolas who have been through the fire together and aren't afraid to give hugs, speak endearing words, and utter tearful goodbyes when the occasions call for them. They aren't afraid to express themselves and it's still refreshing 20+ years on.
Of course no one should trust my gaydar, i thought Our Flag Means Death was a charming tale about male friendship
Heh. I do think there's a point at which people stop thinking men can be close friends without some sort of relationship being implied.
Perhaps ironically, I think this cheapens the idea of deep same-sex friendships and perpetuates certain narratives from toxic masculinity.

So, uhhhh, does your ornament have any spiritual significance?
I feel similarly about Frog & Toad. Arnold Lobel came out as gay late in life, but the friendship dynamics between the titular characters transcend any ideological arguments. (rather than being "plot twist: it was only ever about gay guys all along") Everyone can learn from it.
but the reality is the opposite "wait wait, i cannot pause", "this is online game, cannot pause" etc.
Yeah. With the rare exception of actually being able to schedule some multiplayer with a friend or two (which happens maybe a few times per year), I swore off "always on" games shortly before having kids.
I've shifted to limited experiences that are mostly single-player and it fits much better into the standard "wind down" slot that parents can insert any other [hobby/interest] into after the kids are down.
Feeling modest, might delete later IDK.
It's pretty mind blowing on its own, but the fact it was created in Doom makes it all the more impressive. I honestly didn't have the time to figure out how to reach the "good" ending, but I was pretty pleased with myself for discovering the on my own.
For anyone else who either wasn't able to "finish" it for any reason, this is a great video essay on the map.
Have you also tried MyHouse.wad for Doom?
Can't have a picture of your butthole in the wind if you never take a picture of your butthole. taps head
Yeah. Learning to "fight fair" is so incredibly important and can avoid wounding our loved ones in the (hopefully) rare times when words get heated.
Yeah, those were the in-between touch bar models that I already mentioned. They started with lower specs, but also got phased out.
At the end of the day, my recollection of MBP specs was off and stuck thinking the 2021 switch to 16GB was still standard. My guess is that my 2021 model at work had me so satisfied that I never bothered to keep up with the M2/3 models. It's really disappointing to see that they've gone back to using 8GB as the base config.
Base model MacBook Pros have had 8GB of memory for over a decade.
I was wrong about what they're selling now, but they absolutely made 16GB the minimum when they introduced the M1 models in 2021.
It's gross to me that they went back to 8GB base memory with the M2 and later models.
The soundtrack factors into at least 40% of my overall game enjoyment experience. I won't crap on someone else's taste, but there's no way I could listen to anything else unless the in-game music was terrible and/or monotonous.
I heard an author heard today discussing his take on what has brought us to this point:
1) Fewer chances for kids to play independently and figure out human relationship dynamics on their own; and
2) The introduction of smartphones.
With those two combined, major issues started being reported in around 2013. (specifically in regard to young girls, but that's just where it started being popularized)
So, our culture may in fact be more aware of mental health issues, but our collective habits may also be hampering the development of important social skills and mental health regulation.
/edit/ Fixed my stroke wording.
I’m sure it was bothering you as much as it did me.
Exactly. It didn't matter whether I played the game or not, but the blank thumbnail simply could not stand.
Definitely super helpful for new users.
Definitely! I wasn't sure how to fix it until now, so thank you for suggesting it.
Well that's gross. I know for sure the M1 models didn't do that.
Was it when they changed memory configurations for the M3s?
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but what's so bad about iOS notifications?
They come and I see them, or if I miss them at the time, I pull down and see them later. Is it that they aren't clearing as expected or what? I see enough complaints about them that I'm clearly not in the standard use case or having the expectations as everyone else.
