$140 for one dog is rough. Have you tried food toppers? What meat options have you tried? We found switching from Purina Pro Plan to True Instinct has been good, our dogs prefer it way more. We were using Nutro before but our vet recommended Purina.
If your dog is picky like mine, you could try a cheaper kibble and mix it with canned wet food.
