You say I need to test my backup process like I don't break something so bad I need to restore like every month already

Here's the crazy part: that Studio City one used to be a Blockbuster Video back in the olden days. The parking lot was normal. When Blockbuster closed, Trader Joe's moved in. They repainted the lines to make the spaces smaller. They added planters with trees in random spots. They changed some of the parking aisles to one-way-only.

They intentionally took a normal parking lot and made it super shitty and inconvenient to stay on brand.

Fuckers.

IIRC they practiced a bunch and he never missed. Arrow flew through the invisible gas and lit it every time.

Give an Olympic-caliber archer a target that is that big, if you count the column of gas above the cauldron, and only a hurricane-sized wind would really make it tough for him. He didn't have to land it in the bowl, anywhere like 100 feet above it still ignites the gas. For him, it looks impressive but is probably quite easy.

It flew through the invisible gas and lit it on fire. It wasn't supposed to drop into the cauldron itself.

They have plenty of time for the Petersen, yes, but they don't have 13 full hours. For an international flight departure they're gonna really want to be back at LAX by 6 or 7pm.

The Odds bet in craps is the only bet you can make at a casino table game where the payout is at the mathematically true odds. There's no rounding and no vig. There is zero house edge on the Odds wager. You do have to make a Pass or Don't Pass bet first to then back it up with an Odds wager, and that's where the casino's edge comes from. But once you're in the door with that Pass bet, the Odds is the fairest bet they offer anywhere.

This year only, the start was pushed into August instead of July, because of the potential strike. Most productions pushed past 8/1 to be clear of the IATSE stoppage if it happened, because it is so expensive to stop then re-start.

It would be amazing if LeBron came out publicly and said drafting some college second-stringer is an objectively terrible move for a franchise that has any hope of being competitive, and then demands a trade

The whole fucking point is that restaurants are the worst offenders of junk fees! What does this law do if it doesn't stop them???

Someone stole 35 doorbell cameras in my neighborhood. Just walked up with a screwdriver and pried them off everyone's front porch.

We had photos of his face, from the cameras. We had video. We had his license plate.

LAPD called it unsolvable and didn't bother to do anything but throw away the reports.

Unfortunately, you can't patent an idea

How much should I tip on a bulk purchase of TAR AND FEATHERS?

What about PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES?

Does your thermostat expose the defined hvac modes? I think they can only be auto, off, heat, cool, heat_cool, dry, and fan_only?

I'm tired of this pro-Child-Labor propaganda!

It's not right to force babies to work as soon as they are one year old! What do you expect them to do anyway? There aren't that many coal mines anymore. Their fingers, while small, lack the dexterity to trim marijuana plants. I can't think of anything else that babies would be good for in the work force.

This has to stop!

There's something so sad about content creators who've picked a topic that doesn't update as fast as their channel needs for the algorithm metrics.

So much lame filler and clickbait. I mean how much content can you generate when you have to force yourself to make at least one 10-minute video every week, and, all that you have to talk about is "zwave got bumped up to a new version this week! Watch me recite all the dev notes from the blog post".

If you have already set it up once for a Google Home speaker, you don't need to do it again. You can control the thermostat through HA's connection to the speaker, and get the info back the same way.

But if you haven't, then, yes you need to authorize the API and stuff to get info out of Google's app and into HA at least once. But then if you've done it for the Nest thermostat you won't need to do it again if you ever add a Google Home speaker later.

I was at a barbershop and overheard a bar owner saying that last time he was looking for a bartender, he got 70 headshots.

It gets posted by a bot every few months to gain karma. After it hits enough, the bot starts posting political propaganda to influence elections.

Probably gearing up for Trump.

I've never seen the large tracts of dusty, barren, red clay dirt around the cloudy oil fields of... Beverly Hills where Lt. Bogomil jogs to start off the plot in Beverly Hills Cop 2.

I just want to say i NEED it to return

or at least find out what brand it really is lol

so good

Normally a tub spout is in a shower/tub combo. But if it was a walk-in shower, no tub, but had a tub spout... that would look weird for a second.

Yeah they're gonna put up little 2-foot high screens so they can shit half hidden
