Books like Ethan Frome?
So I read Ethan Frome a few months ago and it became one of my favorites of all time after just one read. The whole forbidden love story ending in tragedy was beautiful. I love romance stories in general but I’m not a big fan of modern romance books (I’ve read a bunch and they are just too corny for me, if that makes sense). Does anybody have any suggestions for a good classic romance book similar to Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton?
