We sent over $100 billion recently to another single country. We could’ve easily taken 1/10 of that and spent it on our military vets, housing for our soldiers, improved food, etc. This would go a long ways for the improvement of our military forces as well as the citizen’s perception of how our government values our soldiers.
We don’t need to raise taxes anymore. We need to be wiser on how we spend our current budget. Instead of raising taxes for this particular issue, we could’ve EASILY sent $1-2 billion less to another country…say Ukraine as example.

Just for you, I’ll explain the false assumptions that you have made which are not represented or correlated to my original comment in any way. I am NOT for immigrants dying at the border. If they are on our soil then I would hope we could give a helping hand, and the same for Mexico for any that are on Mexican soil (which tends to be a vast majority of them). I am pro-immigrant, but anti illegal immigrant. We are simply not a country without a border, nor are we doing ourselves a favor letting anybody and everybody in without knowing who they are. We DO have an issue with the lengthy time it takes to process those immigrants to grant them citizenship. That is where we can help correct a major defect on our border, but simply opening it wide open is not a viable current system. I am NOT ok with innocent Palestinians or Israelis dying, whether it’s from a drone attack or sheer murder. I recognized that 100% of wars in history do have more innocent civilians killed than actual military soldiers. I don’t support this, but I understand it happens when war takes place. I wish they would resolve it through bargaining, treaties, or in some other peaceful manner. Just like my original comment, I am against any innocent life lost. Whether it’s an embryo/fetus (biologically still a human life, just at a different stage of development like an infant to an adult), an illegal immigrant, or any innocent person in any war.
It is YOU who states inconsistencies by caring about some lives and not others. If you actually used any logic you would see that the border is wide open, not only for votes, but also to help make up for our decrease in population growth. We need to keep a steady population growth to help maintain our economy and future work force. We could easily curve the amount of immigrants needed if we chose not to abort over 500thousand lives every year from our own citizens..just a thought 🤔.
