Been riding for over 25 years and I would say pretty much every time I go out for a long ride. Once I'm home I review what I could of done better and what I could have foreseen etc. I think this is the best way to keep improving yourself.
Don't worry about things that you cannot change. It is inevitable that we are all going to die. Just a question of when and how.

I use VMware Fusion Player as it is free. I did initially try UTM but it had graphics issues.
I am using my MacBook as a replacement, but.... I do have to run MS Windows in a VM for some software (e.g Microsoft Project), which is a bit annoying.
This has happened to us all, esp in the early days of riding.
My thoughts for, what they are worth, is that I think learning to ride in a busy area will actually make you a better rider in the long run as you will develop good hazard perception skills.
If it's not specifically a shapefile, then I call it spatial data.
I do VR development using 4K 360 degree videos on the base M1 MacBook Air.
Life is dangerous. You could die crossing the road, so do your friends and family want you to never walk anywhere? Everything we do has risks. Just live your life.

It does, but to the right audience. I do a couple of lectures every year to trainee trauma psychologists and organisationswho work in war zones. I use these as a measure to gauge how "normal" I am.
