Thank you all for the advice. I’ll try to snake again and see if it improves. If not I guess it’s time to call a plumber.

Thanks for the pricing info. Since there's just one local dealer here and they have it in stock , $1k difference doesn't sound too terrible.

Those prices are with a $3k credit card down payment and remaining cash. No additional discount even if I pay all cash.

I had similar problems with the certs signed by an internal CA. However if I used a cert signed by a public CA everything worked.

I didn’t investigate further but perhaps the vcenter OS was checking the certs against its OS’s installed CA certs.

I’d try ssh to VC, install the cert on the OS, then try the steps again to see if it makes a difference.

Dell servers by default use only one PSU and the other one is on standby. You can set it to load share in iDRAC.

Without a UPS, Lightnings and brownouts can kill your PSU, even if you set your server to load share.

My old datacenter had generators on both buses, but only one bus has UPS. The non-UPS bus is ‘conditioned’ so I guess that eliminates the lightning/brownout risk.

A USB floppy drive All sorts of video adapters An Apple Newton with a fax modem A thermo fax machine Atari TV switcher

Where I work, day 1. Realistically if it’s an Unix environment you should be given sudo rights. Sharing root passwords are just asking for trouble.

Thanks for this. I was going to get an electrician to put in a 50A service, now I'm changing it to a 60A.

Sundance Hot Tub Prices in the SF Bay Area?

Has anyone bought a Sundance hot tub in the Bay Area recently?

The local dealer suggest Aspen, Optima, or Chelsee. Prices are $25k, $20k, and $17k before tax, including cover, lift, stairs, and delivery. We're leaning towards the Optima or Chelsee.

Are these prices reasonable? There's only one dealer in the area so I don't really have a way to compare prices.
