Yeah they work fine. Just proposing options.

Look up VA Vet Centers and see if you have one nearby. Separate records system from the Army.

Most clothes don't need the dryer. Get a drying rack. Also reduces wear from being in the dryer.

VA Vet Centers have counseling resources for vets.

I just did 22 days of exploring in Central Europe. Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, and Istanbul. If you find yourself with extra time than you need in your major stops, take a day trip by train to a local city.

I used Gemini AI to help speed up planning. Well worth it.

You will need a break from time to time. That could mean sitting on a park bench for an hour or laying in bed for an afternoon. Or more.

I would go out exploring through lunch, then go back to lodging and shower/chill for a few hours during hottest part of the day. Then head back out for dinner and evening wanders when it's cooler.

Things also look cool with lights shining on them. Expect to be tired and get worn down as the trip progresses. If you are into party scene/late nights, that will impact your ability to enjoy the exploration and experiences.

I brought laundry soap sheets with me and that was a lifesaver over having to buy laundry soap throughout my trip. You can never buy small enough bottles and you have to do the google translate thing every time you need to buy some. I had enough to wash my clothes twice in every city. Super lightweight and I will always do this on any international trips moving forward.

If you are using a backpack vs small wheeled suitcase, you should absolutely bring less clothes and belongings than you think you need. That backpack will become extremely heavy during your travel days. Made worse if it doesn't have a strong and comfortable waist strap to offload your shoulder straps.

I had a packable Osprey day pack. Basically a bag with shoulder and chest straps but no actual frame or rigidity. Works wonders as an exploration bag and can be stuffed into your pack on travel days. Absolutely worth it.

Airalo regional esims are reasonable. I did the 10gb for $37.

Make a list on Google Maps with all your sights. I did a separate one for food and drink. Helps speed up navigation process.

DM me if you have any questions. Have a blast.

Thank you for spending the time to leave such a detailed response. I also tend to focus on the beat and the music itself. I don't really care for the lyrics. Happy Friday!

Can you give examples? The singles are the ones you hear the most and they're rubbish.

I know Nickelback has some okay songs. My aunt has an Imagine Dragons ringtone. The lead singers voice is a cacophony of shrieks to my ears.

S2S is a non-profit that assigns you veterans that have the degree you want. They help you figure out your applications and give advice. Well worth it.

It's a long process. DM me if you want to chat.

Networking gives you better odds over just submitting resumes. Find a vet that works at the companies you like. Do a zoom call with that person to get a feel for the company. Have them put a good word in for you when you drop your resume for an open position.

Get everything you deserve from the board. DM me if you want to talk resources. I hope you are getting help. It works.

Don't stop working out. You will get fat and slow very quickly. Lifting and cardio is wonderful medicine to help you with the transition.

Fenix 7 is a bit chunky. I was given one as a gift and it feels too big.

Have you tried psychedelics?

Use your local Vet Center. You can get free counseling while at home using WebEx.

Sold all the TA50 stuff on eBay that I didn't want. Might do the same with excess uniform items like rank and insignia.

You will be swimming in runoff from cities along the river. It's cleaner than it used to be but something to consider.

Take a few week/months somewhere in your transition and go country/city hopping in Europe/Asia.
