I've always found Nova Scotia pizza to be a lot like New York's. I know New York is pretty famous for their "style" of pizza. Growing up in Cape Breton, there was a pizza shop on every corner on most towns. When I visited New York and grabbed a slice, it was almost the same as Cape Bretons. 

Same issue in Sydney. Since they put the homeless shelter and safe drug site here, the place has gone to hell. Stabbings, overdoses, having sex with each other in the middle of the streets. 

Sharks live in the ocean, Nova Scotia is almost entirely surrounded by the ocean. The presence of sharks is nothing new. Just because you're now aware of where some of them are, doesn't change anything. 

As a healthcare professional, this is where people put an IV if they can't find a big obvious one elsewhere, or they don't like you. 

My opinion would be to take any tour that operates a zodiac. They always get closer to the animals and they are much faster. The large repurposed fishing boats are comfortable but you can't get really close and if you don't see anything, it's not easy for the skipper to get you somewhere else to see something.

Last tour I did out of Cheticamp was Cheticamp Adventure Co. Although we didn't see any whales, they were able to take us farther us to see a pod of dolphins. 

I said Middle-Eastern at first, but someone had a problem with the generalization of that part of the world. You don't really hear of men/women coming from India and committing violent crimes. I don't think I ever met an Indian person who wasn't a great person.

The problem is, these women were beaten in the streets by a group of men not even from this country. And even though assumptions aren't good to make, it's very common knowledge in North America that these people live lives where they can beat their women without consequence. We're not trying to change their world, but they shouldn't bring it here.

Nope. Lost complete and total respect for them around here. They put our lives in danger over and over again and call us cowards when we opt to stage for dangerous patients.

For example, we got called for a guy who was shot by his neighbour. They told us to hurry up to the scene due to the guy bleeding out. Scene wasn't secure and the shooter was hiding in the bushes only a few feet away.

Not saying all cops are bad, but my local ones are complete morons.  

Cape Smokey does probably have the steepest grade, but it's very short compared to some of the other mountains you have to climb. North mountain and McKenzie mountain are not as steep, but very close and they are longer drives.
