If we keep current mechanics, abilities, move sets, and items, I think there’s a good case to make for Lapras being a completely dominant Pokémon. As a bulky water type it already has a competitive advantage, and Tera Ground with Water Absorb would remove weaknesses to fighting, electric, and water. Iron Head and Ice Beam/Icy Wind give coverage against ice and grass.

You’re exactly right. Current AI is basically a very advanced predictive text algorithm that is also trained on plagiarized creative works. My biggest fear with current AI is its use for disinformation and not because of its “sentience.”

It can’t learn it in Gen 9, but it can learn Thunder and Discharge.
