I think it would’ve had a more tepid fan response, but it was just a light years better design than those when the corps was under a certain brass arranger and corps director. That show would’ve been a huge inflection point either way, but coming back after the positive response to 2021 with that show definitely was the thing that catapulted them to 8th on Finals night. The big if for me is if Phantom would be jockeying for the top four this year if COVID didn’t set them back a few years in development, design intricacy, and talent acquisition, but there’s so many variables at work there that it’s hard to say. Oh well, I’m just happy that I don’t have to worry about Phantom making Finals anymore.

Maybe this is a bit of a stretch on my part, but I feel like that’s part of the design tbh, a person’s mind (mynd) going from peace and calm to chaos and confusion.

I would say good morning, but it isn’t really a good morning, is it?

A very wise man once said, “You’re either a Vol or you’re not.”

Quite literally says in the article he was offered. Reportedly was given a blank check and turned TAMU down.

If you’re not trying to get Tony as a large baseball program, you’re stupid. We, as a fanbase, also don’t care bc at the end of the day we are confident he will never leave lmao.

Unless you’re four years old, you made the conscious decision to use a word steeped in homophobia and bigotry. If you wanted to make your point without those connotations, you would’ve done so. But you didn’t, so spare us all the sanctimony.

Then say that. Don’t use words that are homophobic and charged. It’s that simple.

That night was nothing short of pure chaos and we paid for it for the next fifteen years

I think you’re forgetting that in the top of the ninth in the FSU he came unglued over a call that fired up the entire dugout and lead to the comeback. That wasn’t the first time that happened this season either. To act as if emotion or “bravado” is always negative just isn’t true and this season is a perfect example of it.

Maybe that was true in 2022, but it hasn’t been true since. I just think most people assume it was Tony at the core of that and not the players themselves. Since, people haven’t really paid attention to the fact that under a players’ coach, every team’s culture is going to be different.

Rocky Top and Dixieland Delight at the same time? It’s enough to make a grown man from Tuscaloosa cry!

When was your last one again?

Cavaliers slipped the judges a check. That’s the only thing that makes sense.

Nice to see Phantom performing strong!
