I watch a YouTube channel called Living the Skye Life, and on an episode I watched yesterday they were working on their boat mooring. They had to replace a year old chain that was rusting already, he bought the wrong kind of galvanized chain for salt water and it was a good deal at the time. Wife mentions, "buy cheap, buy twice*...so true. Not that we can all buy the very best of things we need, but a good reminder for when we're trying to decide between 2 items and maybe should go with the one that is a few more $$ so hopefully won't have to replace any time in the future.

Someone who is of an inventing mind needs to create a gun that actually performs abortions, it can have attachments like you can buy a silencer, but appropriate for a medical procedure. And the gun needs to have bullets also. Seeing as how guns have more rights than women and children, this abortion gun solution should be basically full proof against being outlawed. š¤š„š¬šš©ŗš

Took a very brief trip to Chicago last week and only bought some chocolate and a few food items from ethnic grocery stores, otherwise skipped getting anything like a t-shirt, etc. My friend bought me 3 souvenir magnets, which are at least usable/functional. I also bought couple of usable stickers and a magnet for my car, but nothing in the knick knack/dust collector category.

A friend told me about a border collie sheepdog like Elsa, but a working herding dog, she was pregnant and still herding sheep but I think the owners knew. Apparently she went into labor while working and just went off in some high grass and had the puppies, I canāt recall if she tried to go back to herding shortly after (wouldnāt be surprised if she tried)ā¦theyāre sort of an intense breed when it comes to herding. I hope he gets both of them spayed asap.

And also the ISU Design college has a closet to donate art supplies for students to have, Iāve donated several things during Covid and even last year (sewing machine, art paper, and even some gemstones for jewelry classes).
Iowa State University has something like this, the money goes to different charities. It is called the Ames Rampage Rummage, and theyāve been doing for several years now. You can see on the website how much theyāve raised and the dates it is held. I would like to go check it out sometime.
