The usual different strokes...YMMV..et al...but based on these raves I just watched this ..and um....
..well..there ARE enough wtf veering twists to keep you interested but this is totally leave-your-brain-at-the-door stuff imho. The script AND acting are horrifically cringe and the whole thing to me smacked of a FF Scooby Doo episode bevause it's so ridiculous.
But don't wanna yuck anyone's yums ...FUN enough but I didn't expect this to be quite so..um..DUMB. lol.

I thought it was laughably ridiculous and not remotely scary --just completely absurd. I was at one of the premieres and the director abd producer were so embarrassed by the audience's reaction they left the festival. But..different strokes ..ymmv and all that.

People totally forget this isn't just a " tee hee dirty horny cat" cartoon...there is genuinely fucked up shit in this movie..

Suspiria OG ..a lot of admirable things there ...the reds, the rain, the music ...but OMG even the show nothing trailer scared me to death as a child but the end time I finally saw it in highschool...the script is laughably ridiculous and the pacing is horrendously wonky imho...but again some amazing movie making ASPECTS but difficult for me to be frightened of premises and plot holes that are atrociously silly

Twas a bit silly ...but ( quasi spoiler) ..I did get a kick out of the whole premise that the TITLE ( they're) isn't who are protagonists should have been concerned about ! Heh.
No..i.loved it!! I wish the end wasn't so jokily done though..and I love the sequel too...so much going on to be nothing but mostly one girl talking to her camera!

Most of my fellow letrboxed peeps who reviewed this seem to detest it -- but I found this people-start-seeing-themselves-in-an-alternate-universe conceit rather enjoyable and it held my attention! I would have indeed preferred a more fleshed out ending -- but overall imho this is another Tubi gem!
