That does not mean anything about the game. For example, it happened to me that i spent most of the game checking my line with mostly no damage done or taken compared to my teammates, but job was done for the win. If you just check the stats screen, you would believe i did nothing...
If i take this screen, i could imagine the Bibi punishing the safe in heist while doing not so much damage at all...

Better than at the beginning. Not so bad after all. Just the random chance of winning the Godzilla thing with the same mutations all the time was a pain but free stuff are always good.
I recently made a secondary account for fun. Could easily reach Diamond I (2k trophies). Then you realize that to go further, getting 12 brawlers to power level 9+ would take a lot of time and resources. This is where there is already a cliff edge effect that prevents beginners to climb further.
There is already this selection. You don't need anything more IMO.
I see that more as a change of strategy to manage.
You have to build different ways of winning and this is completely manageable (respawn delay is quite long).
For example, in gem grab, it kind of prevents the one with all the gems to escape in the back without anybody being able to track him.

I thought that until yesterday when i played with someone who took EMZ lvl 9, even in maps not designed well for her. He played very well and and we won 2 matches straight (on top of that the 2 i needed to go from diamond to mythic). That changed my judgement.
