Yes and? I happily pay my taxes. This country made me wealth and afforded me opportunities I wouldn't get elsewhere. Paying taxes to support the same programs and infrastructure that made that possible is a part of the deal.

The point is I would be wrong cause different people value different things. Some people stay at a Hamptons in while others prefer the Aman. If you can afford it and prefer it over the money in your pocket it's a good value to you
