Anyone ever had to replace a key from Porsche? If so, how was the process and rough cost? I have one key fob that doesn’t work at all and the one that does work is being held together with tape. Will need a new key and reprogram the other key.
UPDATE: Porsche charges $580 + $125 for reprogramming.
I have a cayenne turbo I bought last year. One fob works but is damaged. I just called dealership and it’s $800/key and then $150 for programming. I imagine this is the only route to go?
Sit on the money for 6 months or however long it takes for the both of you to make a decision you both agree on. Set aside the taxes to be owed on it as well. After that 6 months you should have come to an agreement. Also, if you do an outside kitchen in the winter time you may find you’ll get a discount IF you both decide to go that route.
