That’s great! I’m looking over my future stays and my Hyatt stays are mid-October - just missing out on the 90 days from the 7/6 registration deadline:/

Mine was 10k points for every 5 nights up to 50K bonus points

Let me clarify a little… At Four Seasons Ko Olina, the room categories are: Resort View, Deluxe Garden, Partial Ocean View, Ocean View, And so forth

The hotel will typically upgrade you to the next category with FS Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, AMEX FHR, etc based on availability with the FS Preferred Partner bookings prioritized since it’s the brands in-house program. So best chance for an ocean view upgrade is to book a partial ocean view room with a travel agent with access to Preferred Partner rates. I can book both Preferred Partner and Virtuoso rates - happy to check dates and provide a quote if you don’t know an agent.

Four seasons will probably not upgrade you from Garden to ocean view. For the best chance at being upgraded, book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate, which gets priority over FHR and Virtuoso.

If you're staying in a luxury hotel, talk to you concierge. There are companies that will bring a car to the hotel.

have your hotel arrange a taxi for you. And ask for the flat rate.

The only Dreams Prive participating property is Dreams Playa Mujeres... I don't recall seeing a free night offer

I see 3rd night free offers now. Played around with dates and it looks like its up until November. Any dates I can check for you?

So many choices - The best shopping would be at Ala Moana which at the Hilton you’re 5 minutes away from. You could also move further into Waikiki where there are a lot more food options, and be located closer to Kapahulu where the zoo and aquarium are as well as many local eateries. If you’re flexible with budget there’s also the Ko Olina properties - all are family friendly especially with the protected lagoons. Since you have a car, Waikele Outlets are about a 15 minute drive from the resort area which makes for cheaper shopping.

Definitely a hotel to allow everyone their own space. How many rooms would you need and which month?m were you planning on traveling?

We got back three months ago and we still talk about it. And seeing my clients coming back from their cruise last week, and 4 more heading out next month, it probably won’t stop for a while. I do have MNVV to offer (with the original $600 sailor loot) if you’d like to book with me. I can also offer priority boarding and preferred partner rates at hotels if pre and post cruise hotel stays are needed. Feel free to message me 🤙🏾

Maybe Oahu since there’s a direct flight from MSP? Besides there is a good amount of hiking and beaches here. I feel like there’s enough to do here where you don’t need a resort day if you’re the type to always be out and about. If you decide to split, Kauai is completely opposite from Oahu so it would be great to see how different the two are.

Rosewood is definitely pricey. Malibu Beach Inn looks great...only thing is it doesn't have a pool.

What about Mission Pacific in Oceanside? You can book a suite and still come in under budget. Roof top pool with ocean views. There's also Alila Marea Beach Resort - if you think a room with a view and firepit on the balcony would be best. Alila being the more refined between the two, but both available with perks such as breakfast and credit all within budget.

What about 1 Hotel South Beach or for the west coast, Rosewood Miramar Beach or RC Bacara? If Hawaii is in consideration then 1 Hotel Hanalei?

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either month.

Hotels are very responsive to reviews. If you received a post stay survey, be truthful about your stay of course, but also mention how stressful its been trying to get help with recovering a sentimental item. Chances are your initial request made it to the employee/supervisory level. A review will surely get the eyes of the Rooms Exec and GM.

Since the prices/views/room categories are a wash, I'd say location would be the next factor to look at. Sheraton wins out in this battle being more centrally located.

Are you looking to go back to Kauai or visiting another island? Agreed that an idea of your budget would be helpful. Hotels may be able to negotiate a 5 week stay, but it would still be way more expensive then an Airbnb.

Marriott Waikiki and Outrigger Reef come to mind.

Sorry, no tips here but this reminded me of two girls my wife and I sat together with at Gunbae. They were on a secret sister trip that their families had no idea they were on, including their other siblings and mother. Thought it was the funniest thing ever, but at the same time so special for them to have such a bond. Cheers to your sibling trip!

Exactly this. The island is so small that the places they were pointing out were the likes of the Post Office, Department of ____ and other government buildings, schools, port where they import their goods, etc. I was very surprised that VV actually approved it to be a shore excursion.

From June 1-20, Outrigger Reef comes in under $600 a night for a 1 bedroom suite with club access, but the taxes and fees pushes the total to just over $4k. With club access, you get breakfast, craft beer and wine, and evening pupus. I toured the rooms here recently, and I want to say that most of the 1BR have showers, so do request a room with a tub if you require one for the littles. A 1 BR here is cheaper than two rooms at a hotel like Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.
