Did the trip from ANC to FFR last week and paid for LH but we flew with Discovery. The BC cabin was a bit dated and felt a bit worn out, I was lucky that no one took the seat next to me as what you’ve described would have ruined the few hours kip I managed to get. Initially I was annoyed we’d been palmed off with what previously I’d read was their ‘cheaper and inferior’ partners, but I have to say most of the staff were helpful and though they lacked the standard of service and attention we’ve had with QA for example, the food was very good and I’d travel with them again. I’m a bit of an arse when it comes to high expectations after paying what I consider a pretty high fare for international travel and find so many airlines fail to deliver the quality of seating you’d really rather expect. Cabin refurbs surely aren’t that difficult? I’m not asking for a new plane every trip but modern/ergonomically designed seating at the front of the bus seems the least you should expect.

Reckon you should ditch Gordon’s for the Pollen street social. Only good GR restaurant I ever ate in was Maze.

Big whoop. What are you 10 years old?

Acceptable changes all the time. Try doing a big and loud yawn. The message will be clear.

An invitation or a statement….?

I second that. It’s a small unassuming place in the heart of Marylebone, not far from great shopping at Selfridges and I’ve eaten there many times without disappointment.

The Ledbury in Notting Hill for the taster and a great Sunday lunch at the Bull and Last in Highgate. One of the oldest pubs in London.

Great town I’ve only visited once, but after reading this I’m tempted to return. Thank you
