Bridgton hospital is not great, I’ve had two relatives misdiagnosed in the ER. One had an xray and they missed an arm fracture. Another time a relative had sustained tachycardia with no prior events and they said to try to relax, needless to say we transported the person to Maine med where they were kept overnight and given meds to try and get it under control.

Sell the grill and get a decent offset, then you’ll have nice clean hot smoke going upwards and it’s never bothered my neighbors.

What’s the purpose of the kayak? Running gnarly stuff or playing for fun? If you’re looking into downriver tricks or play vs running challenging rivers it’s going to change things up. My advice is buy a used boat, find a group, try their boats, and if you like theirs more unload yours!

It does do wonders, especially on plastic and burns.

What, I need to go to my Costco tonight I guess

Lots of knee torque, prolly a no go.

Try crochet?

The Dutch athletics organizations are ruthless and only care about results. The Dutch fans I’ve encountered don’t really care as long as people win. If this guy doesn’t do well the country will turn on him in failure but if he succeeds they won’t care about his past.

If you’re road tripping with it make sure to get one with a quick dc fast charge option. Some EVs charge faster than others on DC. If your road trips are along major highways fast chargers are easy to find. If you’re not, level 2 chargers are going to be your only public route. Totally doable but we have a gas suv for real road trips since we are carrying dogs etc anyways.

Good on you! Europe can be cheap, and once you’re there flights are super cheap compared to flying inside the US. Scotland is one of my favorites, $100 a night gets you a great bnb and driving around is just so gorgeous

Dang! I still can’t justify over $500 on a watch (hence no Murph) as I’d rather spend it on other hobbies/travel budget. I guess travel is another ADHD thing, I’m always planning the next trip (they aren’t often relaxing vacations but more travel-focused ones).

lol. I’ve made it a hobby and limited myself to a 4 watch roll. A Movado museum will never leave as it was a gift from my parents at 21yo. I’ve got a seiko automatic diver, casioak beater, and a mission to Mercury moonswatch.

Limited myself to one a year maximum, but I don’t see it changing much unless I get a Hamilton murph.

We call it double down. Down is laying down, double down means chin on the floor. “Relax” means down on the side with their head on the floor.

Perfectly fine behavior to teach a dog, although we only do double down as a trick since there’s not much reason for it.

Get access to a test environment and see what is possible

Edit: also find a person with knowledge of it, and offer to help them with something if they’ll take an hour every other week to help you learn the system.

It was pretty meh, good but not special. We won’t be going back unless for apps

Likely my wife’s $700 Patagonia jacket for $100. So many good ones though.

Costco sells them at 2.99-3.99/lb. Best price I’ve found as I make my own bacon.

This, your guests are there for a fun time, not to work. At the same time they need to paddle to feel involved. I always balance out an imbalance with my stick. Keep it easy to follow and more importantly fun to follow. Tips will be higher for sure.

I like the middle zip pfd, kayaked in one for a long time and guided rafts in it for 3 years. Don’t hang anything off the zipper pull and you’ll be good. Most have a buckle or two as well as the zipper for safety. I love Astral and have their middle zip but can’t remember the model.

No problem! Good luck with your journey.

Congrats on learning a roll!

The head will be a difference, it’s a fair hunk of weight that being out so far from the body allows it to get into positions that can sink your roll. Remember that aerated whitewater is a lot harder to roll in than the smooth stuff you’ve got on video. Work on that until you can hand roll, then you’ll be good for rolling back up in a lot of stuff when you’ve got a paddle!
