As a dedicated overwatch/sniper, this is BS. A good overwatch can do some serious work, especially when everyone works well together.

LN Volume 12, near end of Chapter 10.

Agreed. Roman was super nice. Only thing though is Roman doesn't offer any electronics. Also the trademark stamping is lower-quality (isn't as sharp, will show comparison once they arrive; Vintage vs. TGS vs. Romans), and Roman's bottom stamping reads "TRADEMARK.REG.R.E.PAT.OFF." instead of "TRADEMARK.REG.U.S.PAT.OFF.

The "R.E." being for "Roman's Empire" (the name his business used before "Roman Props").

Honestly just keep throwing them and get a feel for it. Soon enough you'll just know.

Like the others say, it's a slow burn. But once stuff gets going, it's a hell of a ride. Also, the LN is divided into "Parts" and the entire anime (the first two "Parts", of which there are currently five) is basically just the prologue.

My Review of The Graflex Shop

So... after learning some years ago about the Graflex 3-Cell being a super old camera flash, and being the core piece of the Skywalker Lightsaber prop, I had begun my search for a vintage one. Unable to afford a vintage, I stumbled upon the Lightsaber Discord, which led me to The Graflex Shop (TGS). Excited to have finally found a place that sells THE most accurate Graflex replica around, I jumped in and after saving a bit, put in an order for a TFA/TLJ Graflex Saber Kit. But oh boy was this anything but a good experience.

Before I begin, I will say that one of the two big things that would have made my experience with TGS better is if their website had more specific, clear information regarding lead times. The other being literally any improvement on their effectively non-existent customer service.

Anyways... I placed my order mid-March for the TFA/TLJ Saber Kit, with "Partial Assembly" option selected. At the time, the "Graflex Saber Kit" page had a line of text reading "PREORDER / April 1st" above another body of text indicating a lead time of "2 to 5 days." It also did not explain how assembled "Partial Assembly" was (and my multiple attempts to get an answer never got an answer). Keep in mind that NOWHERE on the site is it explained what the "PREORDER / Date" line means, nor is their shipping and refund policy actually accessible. Just a dead link that goes nowhere. At most, I got a short version of it from their Etsy page, which says something about a "restock fee" for refunds (a practice I firmly believe to be extremely predatory for any business to have, especially when it gets applied to an order that you haven't even received yet).

So I placed my order, and expected it would be processed by April 1st, and ship out a week later, as anyone would expect reading what was on the item's page. So multiple times through April, I attempted to contact TGS through email and Facebook, being met overwhelmingly by bot responses, brief, unhelpful replies and estimates on ship dates that were ultimately false (multiple times) when someone actually got back to me. This continued through May as well, as I saw the page update to say "PREORDER / May 1st", and then finally in late-May, update to "Limited Stock".

Then after giving up on asking for updates, on April 29th, I get a shop app notification showing a USPS tracking number originating in Center, Missouri (TGS' location). Four days later, USPS still has not received my order from TGS.

Now, looking at the item's page, it now reads "Limited Stock" and a lead time of "20 days to ship your order." Also, it now reads that the Saber Kit comes completely unassembled.

With all that said, here's what I think:

Product Quality: 8/10 (loss of 2 point for extremely minor inaccuracies, particularly the bunny ear rivet being a well-hidden, reverse-head screw, and the GRAFLEX stamping being ever so slightly off, which is most likely to prevent them from being passed off as genuine vintage clamps).

Product Descriptions: 4/10: While every item's page does a great job of explaining what it is, TGS is extremely bad at clearly relaying accurate or understandable information regarding lead times and shipping times.

Customer Service: 1/10: Honestly deserves a 0/10, but at least they responded (eventually), and answered (some) of my questions (and not very well at that).

For a company claiming to have been around, and in continuous operation, focusing on making and selling ONE thing, for 25 years, you would think they would have become MUCH, MUCH better at doing business by now.

So I will leave you with this: DO NOT BUY FROM THE GRAFLEX SHOP. And if you have, and experience the same infuriating things that I have, just save your time and money and cancel, or do a chargeback if they try to steal a "restocking fee" from you. You're better off grabbing the new 2024 Graflex from Korbanth, or from 89Sabers.

Hey, any update? I placed an order to TGS (for a TFA/TLJ Saber Kit) on March 20th, 2024, and just yesterday (May 29th, 2024) saw the tracking number appear.

And I've had a HELL of a time dealing with TGS. First, they don't even respond to simple update requests, then go on to make guarantees that they DID NOT live up to. Then they finally add a tracking number, but still seems to take a while to get it to USPS.

Ultimate Guard's Boulder 60+ should hold them just fine. Pretty much zero wiggle room width-wise or height-wise. Will be very slight extra space.

That's a $1,000+ card, graded PSA10. An ungraded one is just around $500.

I hope Elijah Wood somehow gets it. Or Andy Serkis.

So... firstly, let me say that I have only been in the MTG community since 2017 (though I bought my first MTG products with Core Set 2010, and stuck with Yu-Gi-Oh! until getting into MTG in 2017 with Amonkhet).

From what I know, there are three types of booster packs: the usual/ordinary Draft Booster, the relatively new Set Booster (designed to give you more different cards, with a larger number of Rares, aimed towards collecting a set, not getting cards for draft play), and the newer Collector Booster (which contains only non-standard cards, such as extended/full artwork cards and showcase frame cards, and are pure-foil packs).

As for the best place to see a "complete setlist" in an easy view, check out Scryfall.

But the easy explanation lies in the Collector Numbers at the bottom of every card (since Exodus). Since Magic 2015, that Collector Number also shows the highest number in the main set. A set may have cards numbered higher than that (for example, The Brothers' War's main set contains 287 cards, but the highest number in the set is 384). So every card with a number greater than 287 will not have the "/287", but instead just be the number.

Bro, you got two of the best deck in the set (also the second most expensive). You could easily flip it and get the missing one and still profit. Or yeah, just contact WotC and they should do something about it.

Firstly, only Creatures can have Summoning Sickness. However, I believe you're asking if Lands have a similar rule. The answer to that is yes and no. Basic Lands are able to be tapped immediately. But nearly all Nonbasic Lands enter the Battlefield tapped (the ONLY Nonbasic Lands ever made that entered untapped were the Limited/Unlimited/Revised Edition "True Dual Lands", which are worth thousands of dollars in basically any condition). Among the Nonbasic Lands that enter tapped, there are MANY different kinds that have additional requirements if they want to enter untapped ex. A "Shock Land" is a Nonbasic Land that enters tapped unless you take 2 damage (in reference to the Red spell "Shock" which deals 2 damage).

Same. All we know is "Fall 2021," but that's starting to get annoying, since we're already well into the Fall season, nearing Winter, and still NOTHING. Not even a "coming soon" slot on the eShop, where we already have exact dates for some January 2022 games. Edit: Apparently, Konami is gonna have something at the TGS (Tokyo Game Show) next week, and both Master Duel and Rush Duel are gonna be featured.

Star TCG for Sleeves

So... there are these card sleeves I've been searching for for MANY years (Ultra-PRO's "Fantasy Series" Standard Size Deck Protectors). They're from the older era of card sleeves (thick, rough welds, opaque brand hologram on front side, often warped front side), and I finally found them on Amazon, but they're being sold by Star TCG (a seller that I've heard MANY negative things about repacking). So... considering they're not cards, would it be safe bet?

Ultra-PRO Satin Cube

I haven't posted very much on here, but I need the internet's help with this one. So, Ultra-PRO is about to release a new deck box called the Satin Cube (it's basically a way smaller Satin PRO-Tower). But as soon as I saw it, I remembered that I had seen an EXTREMELY similar deck box like 15+ years ago in a Toys 'R' Us. And no matter how hard I searched (I got like 10 pages into Google search results) with no luck.

I KNOW it existed. It was the same height as a normal, $2 Ultra-PRO deck box, and only slightly deeper/wider to account for the thing's thickness. It had a shiny silver "ring" around the deck box, 1/3rd (NOT half-way) up from the bottom of the deck box with the Ultra-PRO logo in a silver oval on the front side. The deck box had beveled edges and corners and exactly like the Satin PRO-Tower (which came out several years later), the top just popped off from the bottom. The one I saw was a shiny satin turquoise color.

I personally think they ARE important. Sex is the ultimate act of love, the payoff of a well-built relationship. In most VNs, sex is NOT just for sexual gratification of the player, it's a strong narrative tool that shows us how important the characters are to each other.
