Complaining about free 500kg bombs is WILD
Shields only run is so much fun, even with just regular shields. You also forgot that staggers with shields are WILD.
Yet I was playing last night and had a squad member run railgun and was able to take down a charger faster than I was able to kill it with my quesar cannon. Does it take down bile titans? No. Is it still useful? Sure. And they just fixed a bug with fire damage which opened up everyone taking incendiary weapons and strategems. I don't understand this idea of one weapon being nerfed ( maybe too much? I dunno I don't really run it) and then this idea that the devs have no idea what they're doing when it's been like a week since the patch went through.
Wow that seems like a toxic relationship, I'm surprised you haven't said anything to her and I'm sure your life is miserable. /s
In all honesty, cheers on a relationship that long!
Because power creep. If you buff one weapon a different group is going to complain that their niche weapon set is underperforming compared to the recent buffed weapons. If you buff everything all of a sudden those HD experts are now complaining that everything is too easy and wish they had a harder difficulty past helldiving. Nerfs aren't a bad thing, and there will always be a "meta" even in a PvE game.
Also, people tend to forget that a good amount of weapons got buffed and with bug fixes fire weapons are super S̶t̶r̶o̶n̶g̶, absolute trash and no one should ever use them.
Liberator penetrator is my go to for bots but I can't part from my Blitzer when it comes to bugs.
Can't walk towards me if they're DOA.
Not me on a shield only run. Massive damage and absurd staggers.
It's weird, the preview is more clean than the actual picture for me.
Honestly some of the best experiences I've had with multiplayer were only because of invaders. I once dueled an invader as a furled finger with nothing but fists... it lasted a little while.
Yeah, who would waste that much time and resources on a boss, especially an optional one? (Hiding my 213 death fight against Malenia)
Frostpunk 2 is also coming out this summer as well. Summer Break is gonna have a lit line up.
I think the atmosphere is what sets it apart from Sister Friede. Sister Friede is still my favorite though.
...You know you don't have to romance anyone at all in that game right? You can be a strong independent individual that don't need no guy/gal. Same way you don't have to simp over a moon doll or a lizard in ER. The game's not built around romance, which you seem to be hyper focused on, it's built around options.
Isn't that just Helldiver's?
Jokes on you kid, I said I'm right first which means the responsibility is on you while I just say "nuh uh!"
Bold of you to assume I can get stacks on Dark Seal.
I think because most of the time people just say "game's too hard, controls suck, or story doesn't make sense." The Souls games have always been just as much an exploration game that it has been an action RPG. The story lies in the descriptions of items, the environmental storytelling, the subtle hints in dialogue. Sure they could lay everything out in a glossary but that removes a lot of the fun that Souls players enjoy. Edit: Not to try to change your mind but that's why people get upset over those comments. Cause it's usually people that hate the games because they don't understand and refuse to understand the game, not because it didn't interest them.
I'd challenge that it's also because of the speed of the game. You 100% wouldn't be able to handle ER input reading in DS2 because of the slow paced combat ( which I didn't mind). Elden Ring is fast paced with its combat and movement so it's easier to deal with.
Lingering will was ROUGH and I still don't remember if I beat it. I actually struggled a lot more with KH1 Sephiroth than 2. Took me 5 or 6 hours to beat that guy.
Still love that people who trash on DS2. DS2's level design was top notch imo and combat/bosses don't deserve that circlejerk that they get. Also has the best New Game+ out of all the series.
This will always be the case when a piece of paper is more important than the actual knowledge. People are told to go to college because they HAVE to get a degree in order to land a job, not because they need the knowledge to succeed at said job. Students who WANT to learn typically don't have this issue because they're trying to understand the content better ( or at least that should be the goal the professors give them).
Nah, if a weapon isn't perfect in every situation against every type of enemy it's in DESPERATE need of a buff. Maybe I'm just a dummy who doesn't know the "best" way to play but I rock the Diligence rifle for bots and have never looked back ( bugs I experiment often). Of course, I also think the one of the best strategems is the gas strike so what do I know?
There are only 2 types of weapons tierlists
