I have a shower faucet that doesn’t have enough pressure to start my tankless water heater. I’ve removed the flow constrictor from the shower head and it doesn’t make any difference. Can anyone recommend a faucet that would give me more flow?
I’m 73 and I find women my own age attractive. Not every woman of course but there are some that still appeal to me. Also, you have to be practical about your own age and appearance. Don’t expect to date a 10 when you’re a 4.
You can learn much more difficult chords on an electric.
Tell them you don’t want to play the type music they are playing.
Black Magic Woman by Santana Way better than the original by Fleetwood Mac.
Think of it as playing background music for other people’s social lives. You set up and play for a couple of hours. You don’t need to announce songs. Just play.
The past is gone. You can’t change it. It is what it is. It sounds like she’s been a good wife to you. Forget the past and don’t hold her accountable for what she did before she met you. Forget about it and try not to discuss it anymore. Put it behind you. Move forward in your life. If you lose her you’ll regret it.
My father introduced me once by saying “This is my oldest son, he can do anything he sets his mind to.”
I play with a lady who does this. If I retrieve the ball I don’t hit it back to her until I’m in position to receive the serve.
Tell them “I need an answer by ……..” If you don’t get an answer, book someone else.
Work a minimum of 40 hours week and don’t skip work because you don’t feel like working that day. Skipping work cuts out any extra money you could have had.
Those in charge always shoot the messenger.
I’m 73 and play a couple of gigs a month. I played in bands till I was 26 and quit when my band broke up. I didn’t start playing gigs again till I was 66. You definitely not too old. It’s never too late to start.
Start with an easy song to play. I like to talk to the audience a little bit before I play. Nothing big, just small talk like “it’s really hot out there today.”
I think of the audience as a group of my friends and I’m just part of the group. If you mess up a little, chances are good nobody will notice.
Going solo is hard but it has a lot of benefits like, you don’t have to call up the rest of the band to book a gig or arrange practice. I hope this helps.
What would you know about shovels? Shovels are for people who work.
You’ll be too busy getting back up.
I’m 72 and have been playing out since I was 64. I played in bands until 1977 when disco put me out of business. At the urgings of friends I resumed playing out at 64. I play at nursing homes, farmer’s markets, banquets, and coffee shops. Mostly I play solo but I do occasionally play with a couple of friends. I say go for it. You never get that stage fever out of your system.
It implies that it’s military grade. Of course military grade is the cheapest way something can be produced and still function as intended.

Just give their advice back to them. If they say don’t pop it, you say “yeah, don’t pop it.” They’ll get tired of hearing their own advice.
