He is 5 months old. We take him out before bed to do his business, and then we put him to bed. Our plan tonight is to see if we can just let him cry it out. Camping, he was able to hold it from 10 till 7 or even 8. I do think he liked sleeping with us a lot, and that's why now he wants to all the time.

My girlfriend was looking into this, and she is going to try this, and I will do it. It sounds like a great plan. We have been on top of him not biting our hands, but occasionally, he will playfully nip them, especially if a toy I'd near. This angry bite is something new and was not pleasant.

We tell him off and try to move him after a few commands and no movement. We will try with treats and try to teach him off means off the couch. He was good before where we would tell him off, and he would get off, but now he just stubbornly says nope. He bit me when I gave him a little push on the but to move and when I brought my hand back he got me.

This is the plan. He needs to learn that the couch is a privilege and that doing something bad will lose you that privilege.

These are all great points we are already doing. We have him sit and wait till we give the ok for his food. He has been doing that since we got him and is great at it. We also have him sit before going through doors, and we even have him sit and wait at the crosswalk before we cross. He is actually really good on the leash rarely if ever pulls but likes to go from one side to the other but that's ok I'm just happy with no pulling.

Only the couch. I can put my hand right into his food dish, and he doesn't care. We will be having him off the couch and will train to do so.

Yeah, I always make sure that in the end, I'm the Victor, so he knows I'm the alpha, not him. For the most part, he doesn't try to do shit with me as i will put him in his place,but he will definitely push my girlfriend around to try and establish that he is above her.
