Just don’t park at train station over night. Someone cut into our catalytic converter while we were in Portland.

That’s what I thought of. Definitely great literature. But has been described as “a thousand page love letter to racism.”

Fo sho, that’s why I said often. Sometimes is fine too if that floats your boat.

Bravo. That’s also why we need universal healthcare.

I think it’s a rate of change thing. Sure the extra C “fertilizes” the plants to grow more but if they can’t keep up with fossil fuel extraction it doesn’t solve anything.

We have taken so much C out form underground if we re-wild the entire planet above ground I’m not sure if that’s enough to store it all.

Curious if someone has done the math yet.

Doesn’t seem that weird. Sounds like he’s fed up with the line of redundant questions and wished he wasn’t being interviewed but is trying to end the interview as quick as possible without being too rude. Like “how many different ways do I have to say I had dinner with a rich person who offered to help my charity just like hundred or thousands of other grant seekers.”

Everyone had the chance for alternatives in the Primaries. At this point voting for someone else is throwing away your vote and if the lesser evil doesn’t win then you are culpable.

Some factors, like drugs are better suited for federal level, but others may not be, homelessness varies by region and city and doesn’t neatly fit patterns of things like weather. Other local policies impact it, such as housing zoning and affordability.

Maybe too late for you, but for others a good option might be to make a couple multi-course omakase/kaiseki reservations.

These often let you add a couple diet restrictions. So you can try a bunch of stuff via multi-course. And if you don’t like a course you can always pass it off to your partner and the whole meal isn’t wasted because there is more courses!

At Haneda I saw signs disputing this. I forget exact words but soemthing like “be careful about how much you buy you still need to respect carry on limits”.

Before you have fully automated CICD, you can do TBD with separate dev and release branches. You still get the benefit of integrating everyones code early and often and testing it all together (dev branch (called main/master is totally fine!)) and then you can periodically cut release branches at a cadence of your choice. Then soak and test release branch, then release it.

I’m in my third year and started skipping. I’m trying to work ginger island and can’t be bothered to waste time at festivals.

I swear I read in the wiki says there are predators, but after 2 game years I gave up and it’s never been a problem..

This is the one that took me 3 game years to figure out and majorly facepalmed.

Well said.

Fwiw I don’t think entire swaths should not have access to healthcare. I think I already said that but I’ll say it again. I just think the insurance industry needs reformed. At the very least it shouldn’t be an open question if any individual is covered or not. It should be one click. And on top of that the government should subsidize or provide coverage for low income people.

There’s two ways to change human behavior. Norms and regulations. You’re arguing for norms. I’m arguing for regulations. Your last comment convinced me you have a point. I’m reminded of Bushido and how Japan has a much healthier ratio of CEO pay compared to the US for example. You made me realize I don’t want to say norms are meaningless. They aren’t they’re important. But I still think we need to make it easy to do the right thing. It’s absurd that in this techy age it’s not as easy to take insurance than cash.

This started up around these comments

My last therapist told me they could bill my insurance, get rejected, then bill me the cost plus the cost of their time attempting to bill.... or they could just charge me cash.

To which you replied

it would have been a response to the capitalistic rot in their brains.

And later

We're also here talking about how therapists don't want to work with insurance because it's "too much work".

therapists are lazy

You have made it clear you think therapists should be doing more work for the same or less pay.
