Late to the party here but totally agree. I’m 5ft9-5f10 (shorter inseam and longer torso) and 195lb. I’ve worn all except 666 and for me 555 is then best fitting for my body type. 777 is a super nice taper but too low rise and crush the junk, 888 nice cut but way too high of rise and better for taller skinnier with lifter thigh/legs or just taller guys in general. 634 too wide and looks stumpy with such a short hem at tag size 36. I was worried about 555 and the skinny vibe, which I don’t like at all but they don’t seem skinny and more of a slim/super slim as described. I think the 555 is a more flattering cut for folks with our vitals. Cheers!
I tore my Achilles (full tear) in 2021 wearing gel resolutions. Is this a thing? Needless to say I don’t wear gel resolutions any longer due to the ptsd I have from that day. 3 years later and I still feel tightness in my calf sometimes but am back to full playin, though very mindful and do not sprint for every ball. This injury is not only physical but it’s also hard from a mental aspect. You’ll pull through it, give it time, rest, rehab and take your time getting back out there. This takes time, lots of tim; some more for others, some less for others. But whatever you do, don’t rush back. Good luck!

Great fit for a tapered look. They will stretch with wear I’ve noticed in all areas. These I hear also fade quickly and beautifully
The 888s look good to me. And if you’re comfy in them then keep rocking ‘em
2:59, guy has great form you can tell he’s focusing on his technique and looks really good, even the grunting. Then proceeds to get junk ball sliced and diced by his opponent. Gotta love 4.0!
Thanks I think we actually tried that once and it basically turned him into a zombie and super lethargic.
What did you get put on for the anxiety? We have a 4 yr old (looks like your guy almost spot on) and has very bad anxiety. We’ve tried cbd but that didn’t work, which isn’t too big a surprise.

Interesting, I loved visiting Chicago Logan Sq (specifically) pre kid going to bars restaurants late night etc. we now have a 3yr old and currently live (own) in SF, Noe Valley. Would you recommend a move to Logan or other neighborhood similar to our current neighborhood here in SF which we really like? I’m basically looking for all the same things OP is but may be commuting at some point and want to go to the better public schools (vs private) through high school.
Run the belt through the patch. I got mine on Monday from IH and did a 30 min warm soak and let them air dry. So far I’m three wears in and notice stretch in the waist and thigh. I notice a bit of softening already and these are super comfy. I think you will be good here, that’s a good fit. Currently I have 3 pairs of 888 21oz in my rotation: the OD, Indigo and SBG and love them all!
Chiming in having experience with most IH cuts except 666. I’m similar build 5ft10” 195lb but probably not is strongly built as you as I don’t lift, lol. Don’t have lifter legs or a big butt either but i find the 888 the best versatile cut so far and imo suits many body types. If you can take the rise of the 555 then you can take the 888 as they are both mid/high rise with the latter maybe slightly bigger. And you don’t have to wear them too high you can wear them mid waist or below gut just fine. It’s all about preference. I want a relaxed tapered cut so i go 888 but if you want more of a really slim look go for 555. I find the latter just slightly too small in the upper thigh and knees. I think the 555s look really good on long leaner slimmer body types or size up if you want more loose fit. 555 is still a nice cut and I hang on to my 555 indigo snake 21oz but mainly wear them if I’m going out and want a slimmer look, same with my 777s. I love the cut of the 777 all the way up until that rise, it is such a small rise. I wear my 777s sparingly because of that small rise which smother the goods :). 634 are a nice mide rise but the hem is huge and will swallow your shoe, especially if you hemming that short, you will lose any taper that was there. I think the 634 look better on taller body types as it keeps the ever so slight taper in place. But 888s are my daily drivers and I love the room in the thigh for mobility. Rotating between 888 21oz indigo and 21oz SBG right now. I have OD 21oz on the way!

No!!! I’ll be there next week (From San Francisco) and was hoping to pay them a visit. I would go there almost nightly during my month long stay in cph a few years ago and was a great time.
