Hilarious takedown of Denver's very own shitty steakhouse.
I lived in the EV and saw “Carrie Bradshaw” all the time. Woman was skinny AF and had plenty of cellulite. Stop torturing yourself
STK is the "brainchild" of ONE Hospitality, a Denver-based concern that owns other *stellar* chains such as Kona Grill and Benihana.
Oh, how I miss that flirty old pirate! RIP Captain Don.
The last couple of times I've stayed at Harbour Village Beach Club, which is perfection. Also there's an amazing new restaurant, Brass Boer, that's the sister to a Michelin-starred one in the Netherlands. Also, who downvotes Bonaire lol
Bonaire is perfect and the teens can learn to windsurf
I don’t like to kink shame but hooboy, look at the downvote fetish on this maroon.
Yeah, early in the pandemic. The empty space is still there, making me sad. Fortunately, Taco Joe’s is hooking me up as we speak.
I'll happily get a burrito from Taco Joe's or a plate from Liang's, but working downtown the last few days reminds me how much I miss Cook's. The barrista — I think her name was Jules — was always super-friendly. Food wasn't cheap, but it was great to just grab a little broccoli salad or quiche or whatever.
Even if you assume Shakespeare isn’t for you, do NOT sleep on the 2000 film Hamlet, set in modern Manhattan. Besides Hawke: Julia Stiles, Bill Murray, Liev Schreiber, Steve Zahn … phenomenal film and cast.
May I recommend my friend Brendan Koerner’s book: The Skies Belong to Us: Love and Terror in the Golden Age of Hijacking

I’m a travel writer and huge hotel snob, and I can’t recommend the Best Western Plus downtown enough. It’s amazing for the price point, spotless, friendly staff.
Echolands has opened a new tasting room outside of town that’s definitely worth a visit.
It's that time of year ... what are your can't-miss parish celebrations and the goodies you always get there? Thanks!
I'm in it now ... could have done with quite a bit of trimming, but I am enjoying it.
I pay about $1800 plus minimal utilities for a secure Cap Hill highrise that has neither of those things, and a great view.
This old broad is in 🇳🇮 until Monday but otherwise in.
Have y’all LOOKED at the instas of her PR firm and its Saudi-repping, duck-lipped owner? That will answer many questions
Made this today and for lunch this week?
Family story was always maternal grandmother’s grandparents disapproved of marriage. Both great-grandparents died, leaving very young maternal grandmother in the care of disapproving grandparents.
Nah. Great-grandFATHER died, great-grandmother left grandma with parents, remarried, had a big ol’ loving family. Never saw her daughter again.
I’ll never know if my grandmother actually knew the truth.
I was going to say Bangkok (I lived there in a nice high-rise for years), but $400/month? Nah. Talk to actual people living there instead of YouTubers.
Snooze will let you order a one egg Benedict, so you can either try two kinds OR get a little flight sized pancake. Ask for your hash browns crispy.
Best eggs Benedict? Looking for recs
