Yeah fair, personally I wouldn’t consider moving from Amsterdam to Manchester for double my salary. But Ten Rouwelaar was working for Burnley last season, so I guess he knows the area a little bit.

Why is the ref even sent to the screen, that was clear as day

Such a shame Frenkie and Koopmeiners (and Wieffer, Q. Timber and De Roon) are injured. This midfield just isn’t good enough.

I doubt we’ll be entertaining to watch during the euros, but this is far from our starting lineup. No Van Dijk, Ake, Dumfries, F. De Jong, Reijnders, Simons, Gakpo, Malen and Koopmeiners at the moment. At least 6 of those will start.

I only used assists in European top flights, so I didn't include the MLS. I'm not sure what you mean about 'making the cut'. I just added all the assists, which are recorded by FBREF.

Other players with a lot of assists in Europe's top flights in that period are Zlatan Ibrahimović (123+), Dirk Kuyt (121+) and Karim Benzema (119).

Most assists in Europe's top flights since FBREF keeps stats, end of the season updateStats

You can buy a GVB ticket for 5 days for 33 euros, to use of metro, bus and tram unlimitedly during that period.

You’re correct, my bad. Turns out the wikipedia page I linked is incomplete. The wikipedia page is about all teams that went unbeaten in a league season. In the ‘notes’ column of the wikipedia page any specialties are mentioned (if they won the cup, an international competition, or if they didn’t win the league). The column was empty for that Al Ahly season, so I didn’t look into it any further. I apologise.

In 1994/95 Louis van Gaal’s Ajax won the Eredivisie unbeaten (27W - 7D - 0L) and also won the Champions League without losing a single game, beating AC Milan 1-0 in the final. Their only loss of the season came in a KNVB Cup game against Feyenoord in extra time.

In 2010/11 FC Porto won the Primeira Liga unbeaten. They also won the Europa League, but they lost two games in that competition.

This season Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga unbeaten and reached the Europa League final without a loss, but they lost the final against Atalanta 3-0 last night.
