Well, the MLM concept was invented in the US back in 1886 when a company that eventually became Avon was founded. So it makes sense that most MLMs are based in USA. I believe the figure is 56% of all MLMs are US companies. Not something to be proud of šŸ˜”

It was also used in securing the ā€œBig Windowā€ screen magnifier.

Yee Haw! Be patriotic and buy overpriced cleaning supplies and supplements so you can support a good oleā€™ home-grown pyramid scheme! But hold your horses, isnā€™t Amway the same thang? Better than Amway you say? Well, Iā€™ll be damned

Her success depends on thousands of her lower recruits losing money. Mathematically, it is not possible for everyone in a pyramid scheme to be successful so it is quite disgusting for her to be bragging about herself and thinking that she is helping people. I hate these so-called leaders in MLMsā€¦they are the pinnacle of douchebaggery.

Yep, it resembles the income disclosure of every MLM out thereā€¦only the 1% make the big bucks.

Lying and deception are core values in MLMs, otherwise they will not succeed in suckering so many people. This hun is pretty despicable but I am not surprised.

The number one reason I buy at Costco and not from a MLM hun?

I do not support pyramid schemes!

Duh.

You need to look at sold listingsā€¦the US version sold for US$30-$35, slightly more than the UK/EU version. Anyone can list for more moneyā€¦doesnā€™t mean it is worth that much.

If they believe ā€œfake it until you make itā€ will make them rich in a MLM, they will be faking it for a real long time!

Enagic admits that 50% of the cost of a Kangen machine goes to pay commissions. Insane.

Yep, could you imagine the sales pitch to join?

ā€œHey, you can make big money selling these filtersā€¦.but first you gotta buy one for five grand.ā€œ

What a joke šŸ¤”

Yep, itā€™s Enagic alright. She got suckered and bought a $5K water ionizer/filter to join as a distributor. Just plain foolish and stupid. Similar machines that work just as well (if you believe in the woo woo of ionized water) go for $1K or less, a fraction of Enagicā€™s cost. She even mentions borrowing to fund the initial purchaseā€¦no words šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Nice first edition GG šŸ‘ You can tell by the flat hard polycarbonate plastic screen coverā€¦after 1991, Sega switched over to the ā€œbubbleā€ design with a softer, inferior plastic that was easily scratched.

Why would you do that? Out of the kindness of your heart? šŸ¤”

Fake AirPod scheme is so played out dudeā€¦go find another bad idea šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

People like her that easily fall for MLMs and get-rich-quick schemes have low critical thinking skills and are too trusting. Most folks wise up after being scammed a few times but some never learn šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

The average Enagic distributor takes months to sell one ionizer/filter (not including the one they bought to join). It is extremely difficult to sell these super expensive devices. Enagicā€™s competitors have the same basic technology (not a secret) and cost one-fifth or less. You have to be quite stupid and have $5K to burn to join this MLM. ABC Australia recently did a very negative piece about Enagic:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-06-19/enagic-multi-level-marketing-scheme-targetting-rural-woman/103891720

I am guessing Enagic (Kangen) because she mentions setting up her family for generationsā€¦.this is something that Enagic huns always tout: generational wealth that can be past on to heirs. Enagic has a ā€œlegacyā€ bonus for top distributors (basically the top 1%) that pays out a set amount each month (amount is based on rank) and can be inherited. Contrary to hunsā€™ claims, this legacy bonus is not guaranteedā€¦Enagic can cancel it at any time if business conditions go south. It is near impossible to achieve the ranks that qualify for legacy bonuses. In the entire history of Enagic and out of hundreds of thousands that joined, only a handful made it...less than 100 likely (current stats are not available but 47 achieved it as of 2022.) This particular hun is quite delusional if she thinks she has a snowball chance in hell of making it to that level selling ultra-expensive ionizers for close to $5K each. The average distributor takes months to sell one or none at all.

Clearly a mass text sent by scammer hoping to catch a few gullible people.

Really good installers with lots of experience would pay attention to the patterns and try not to repeat them so it looks more natural. I just hate it when installers donā€™t give a damn or is ignorant about the aesthetics of the job. I hope you did not pay a premium for the work.

But the guys didnā€™t threaten youā€¦they simply ask you!You could have said ā€œSorry, my phone is low in battery or not workingā€. Donā€™t make it so easy for scammers!

Think of your phone as a vault with all your most valuable data like bank accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, photos. Why would you hand it to a complete stranger willingly?
