Prog Metal Dream Theater https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4lZRrQ6XQ0
I even add Sanctuary as a prog metal band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5NCBaPE3k0
Neoclassical, Yngwie Malmsteen basically created this genre https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbo23CH5TG8
was heavily inspired by Rainbow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmJIccPWnEk
Crossover thrash Metallica the Black album or Megadeth Countdown to Extinction lots of radio and MTV video play for both bands sold millions both https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1PceyvqBlg
Doom Metal would be slow plodding riffs and very bleak lyrical content Black Sabbath Dehumanizer bleak reality based lyrics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHUoXc2c1Bg&list=PLBzBwYhHpqLK82tzGCQbjwAqud_6r7R3z
Nothing like Dio Rainbow or 80s solo albums from Dio hope this helps
Megadeth brought a distinct political element to their writing along with a jazzy technical brilliance, Metallica was more straight forward heavy yet melodic and great songs Slayer really combined punk and what would later influence black metal killer riffs and drumming and yes I rate Testament over Anthrax never got into them did like persistence of time album and Joey the singer was their saving grace
I have to admit I love that Creatures and Lick it Up era with Vinnie that was the best of the 80s albums for me they sounded great live as well
oh goodness that sucks goodwill jack up the price big time
I wish Blackie did that Trick or Treat movie imagine promoting it with Gene Simmons and Ozzy
Hi folks anyone have some 70s to 90s Kiss merch they dont want anymore and would like to sell? I especially like to get the skinny versions of the megos action figures and the sleeping bag thank you
might have actually started with the solo albums and Dynasty was the last straw
