I've got a new 5800x3d in my system to upgrade from my previous 4790k, but I'm still using my old 1080ti, for the legend is immortal
Actually, you shouldn't freeze instantly in space! The lack of pressure causes liquid within your body to boil which might actually be a bit worse, but you're probably not going to freeze into an ice cube. Radiation burns are definitely a huge issue, even all the way out to Saturn, maybe farther if you don't have protection.
I do agree on your last bit though. She definitely shouldn't have survived, but it drove the plot in a really neat direction, so letting it be is definitely best! Just like the magic Epstein Drives
I think I saw it explained at one point that they made sure to expell their lungs of all air and they had a syringe of "hyper-oxygenated blood" which was used a few times throughout the books and show.
The show also made it seem far longer than the book described it because I believe it was only about 20 seconds or so, and you can, emphasis on the maybe survive it, but yeah. Hard vacuum isn't fun.
Lol yeah. It would be totally useless in an SMP or anything that isn't an adventure map, but at least the rule of cool drove it for me!
Thank you! Finding a design that would allow me to cause an inconsistent redstone signal was one of the best little pieces of ambience I felt I could add!
I was just about to comment this! Perfect for creative building worlds!
Oh, for sure. There's no world in which something like this is anything more than a neat little decoration
Flying machines were my savior! If I didn't know how to solve an issue, I build a flying machine!
Ohhhhhhh, I didn't even think to read it like that! That's awesome
Lol yeah, there's an obscene amount of pistons in the build... I think at one point you can see where I went insane and incorporated them as decoration in a wall lmao
Thank you! Luckily, flying machines have made piston doors like this so much easier to make because once I figured out how to power and stop them, everything went pretty smoothly! (Until I had to rebuild everything multiple times of course.)
I'm sure someone with more redstone skill could simplify and compact the design quite a bit, but for my lack of knowledge, I'm pretty happy with what I came up with!
Once I figured out how to work the flying machines, it wasn't too difficult to design, though the main issue was when I screwed up and had to entirely rebuild my design
It absolutely does! (Until those new piston sounds eventually come out at least.) Unfortunately, the audio got all screwed up when I was screen capturing, so I had to remove it from the video
Ah, that is a good question! I found a design online for a little contraption that would cause an inconsistent pulse, and it is pictured here!
Unfortunately I didn't make anything of the sort, but once you figure out how to make flying machines, it's pretty simple! My main issue was wiring everything up
That would be fun! I haven't messed with any mods besides Optifine, but trying to figure out Create would definitely be fun
That would be fun! Currently, it's just the door but I definitely plan to build the bunker underneath at some point in the future!
Oh, and here is a side view of the inner workings of my (Incredibly inefficient) system if any of you are interested!
I already posted this in r/Minecraft but I thought you all would enjoy seeing this creation as well! It took me about three days to create, and it isn't a perfect system nor entirely lore accurate, but I hope you all enjoy this! I would have just cross-posted this from that subreddit, but the feature wasn't quite working for whatever reason, so here you all go!

Can I build my PC without RAM?
