2019 Tacoma rear passenger tire wobble

Hi All,

I am in the mist of troubleshooting my 2019 trd off road taco.

When I was driving someone behind me pulled up and screamed "dude it looks like your rear tire is about to fall off". I then looked in my side mirror to see my tire wobbling.. I did not feel any vibration or bumps for me to even notice it.

I took the tire off to see if I noticed anything odd and everything looked fine.

I swapped the tire to the driver side to see if it was an issue with the tire or rim but the wobble was still on the passenger side.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I do not recall hitting any pot holes or curbs that could cause something to bend.

Could it be something with the drum brake, axle, hub? Just looking for some recommendations as I have a camping trip this upcoming weekend.

Awesome! Yeah I will be taking 90 for awhile. I am looking to disperse camp. I was told Jakes Rocks Road and Forest Road 160 had some awesome dispersed camping, but really open to anything. Just looking for a few things to do while I'm there over the weekend.

Dispersed Camping Allegheny National Forest

Hello,

This will be my first time dispersed camping at Allegheny National Forest. I will be driving from Cleveland Ohio.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which spot to go to? Or a good area to search for spots?

Also any specific trails or things I should see while I am out there.

Thanks in advance!

Getting a loan from land equityAdvice

Land Equity Loan

Hi All,

I am looking to get a loan on some vacant land that I have equity in.

I purchased this land for 65k back in 2019. I still have about 35k owed on the loan. The same lot, a few lots down sold for 135k back in December of 2022.

I am looking to get creative to get more capital for down payments for rental properties?

What is the best way to get money out of this land? And how much could I potentially get?

Thank you

Converting a Powerflex 40 on devicenet to Powerflex 525 over ethernet

Hi All,

Does anyone have experience with converting a Powerflex 40 that is currently using devicenet to a Powerflex 525 over Ethernet?

I know this entails changing the parameters in the 525 to turn on Ethernet.

Is there an easy way to pull the parameters off the old Powerflex 40?

In rslogix 5000, what program changes need to be made?

Thanks in advance, just looking for any information on this as this will be my first conversion!

Loadcell 1756-IF6I not reading 0

Hi All,

We have a loadcell going to our analog input card. We recently just replaced this and the value is reading about -20. The configuration should be the same as this is a 0-20mA loadcell like the previous.

This card has the calibration function, do I need to calibrate this specific input and simulate 0-20mA to get this to read 0?

The actual reading of the loadcell is reading correctly on the physical display.

Adding outputs from a control panel to PLC inputs.

Hello,

I am curious on the process of adding outputs from a control panel to an input card on a PLC. This control panel sends 24v, I would wire this to the input card on the PLC. The only thing I'm concerned of is the different source of 24v. What would be the correct way of doing this?

Programming a RTO and exporting the data

Hello,

This would be my first time exporting data from Rslogix 5000. I was asked to track a part of our process in production to see on average how long this step takes to be completed during certain circumstances.

I was thinking I would use a RTO to track all of these steps, and once it's completed it would export the data and then reset the timer for the next time it would come across that step again.

What would be the best way to export this data?

You won't have any tax implications if you don't sell. Also, nobody can predict the market, you really can't take anyone's opinions on that. There was a study showing the best investors were investors that were literally dead. Meaning put your money in and don't make other trades other than buying...

Any wetness on the control board? If not my guess is pressure sensor. Try to temporarily jump it out and see if it works.

Wow! I appreciate everyone here, giving solid input and advice. I'm deciding to either take a bootcamp, or just piece together a few certifications to get my feet wet and become certified.

If you were to start your Cyber Security career over again..Career Questions & Discussion

If you were able to start your Cyber Security career over again how would you do it?

I am looking for a career change, looking to get into cyber security.

I have a well rounded technical experience on computers (I was the tech guy for my family when anything needed set up or fixed). However I do not have coding experience.

How would you start off learning cyber security again?

What beginner courses/certifications? What are the must have certifications to have before applying for positions?

What position would you look into getting into that has a lot of career development?

Red or Blue team?

Resolution: Ended up being the control board.

I am going back over there tomorrow with the board. I will double check it. I would think if the gas valve is bad that it wouldn't turn on and then off. That valve has to be open for at least 2-3 seconds for that flame to start down the tubes.

Did you see the picture of the corroded control board?

Yeah. I measured amps in series with the sensor and wire. I also did clean it to be sure.

Usually the system will give the flame sensor more time to check for the flame I would think.

Picture of board that got wet. A lot of the pins and connectors are rusty..
