Awesome thanks! Is there another area in Wisconsin/minnesota that you would recommend instead that has fewer mosquitoes and is less muddy around that time?

What would you consider the “bad” season for the bugs? Will it just be mosquito and tick infested until the first freeze from here on out?

I’m comfortable with leading a group and hitting 10 miles a day. The less experienced members of the group are marathoners/long distance cyclists and with 10+ hours of daylight on a relatively low elevation change trail i don’t anticipate it being a problem.

Now the bugs and ticks everyone is describing sounds rough

First Trip on the Superior Hiking Trail

Hello Minnesotans!

I am new to MN and looking to plan a 3-day 30-35 mile hike on the SHT over a long weekend in early June.

I would love inputs from anyone that has hiked the trail on the best section to hike. We would be a group of 3-4 and most likely drop a car at the end.

I have plenty of backpacking experience on the east coast and in the Rockies, but I’ve never been camping in Mn.

Recommendations for a First Time HoneymoonerGeneral Question

Hi everyone, my fiancé and I are getting married in November. I’ve never been to Hawaii, but we’d love to make it our honeymoon destination.

Our goal was spend the first week in a national park lodge or similar nature focused location doing hikes, dives, snorkeling, and more adventurous activities. We were also hoping to see Pearl Harbor and some of the other historical sites.

For the second week, we wanted to stay at a resort or all inclusive on the beach, relaxing, snorkeling, and swimming.

It seems a little overwhelming looking at all of the options, islands and possibilities so I would love any recommendations for a first time visitor.

Thanks in advance for the help !

Thank god someone mentioned the color coding

I would start with biplanes in BF1. I personally like the attack aircraft as a good all arounder. Then once you have some training, you can move on to jets and rotary wing in BF4 and BF2042.

As your proficiency across platforms increases, you could monetize it through a (jet?) stream, but most of us stick to general aviation as hobbyists.

I have a teardrop. I have never once thought “I need a sound system”

Under this framework, when will Minnesotans actually be able to walk into a dispensary?

There were more casualties in the 8th Air Force than the US Marines. The air war and strategic bombing was a much larger and more bloody part of the conflict than most people realize.

How do we account for the value of tuition reimbursement?

That brand new mustang GT you plan to finance at 19%… yeah that’s a great deal

Is it possible to double major or to get a minor/certificate outside of Ross? I've spent time working with Tech teams and can share my thoughts on jobs and recruiting opps from business vs CS in more detail, but in short, the engineering and business combo is ideal. Feel free to pm me.

Thanks! What should we do with our suitcases? Just put them in a big trash bag and treat with chemicals?

A group of us have just spent a week at a hotel abroad, and we are returning home today. This was just spotted on one of our pillows. No one has spotted or felt bites, and there are no traces of bugs in the other group members rooms. What’s the best way to handle this?

Check out escape trailers. I’m hoping to get one of their 17B with a dinette, bathroom, and bed in the future.

Not Starbucks, but I live alone and pay for the sip club membership at Panera. It’s on my commute and is way easier to pick up an iced coffee every day.
