We were woken up by the loud music, not concerned, but more like curious. But I agreed, it’s nice to be informed ahead of time.

They got a permit to celebrate Eid at Blakelock. We heard they had the same event at the Cornation Park last year, but the nearby neighborhood complained about the noise level and they moved to Blakelock this year.

The leak came from the bottom of the tank, but not sure exactly where. Maybe we should try to reseal the whole bottom edge and wait for a sale on new aquariums.

Do you have any specific ones you could recommend?

Yes I heard there was one there before. I wish they were still there, such a cool store.

Yes thank you! Didn’t think of that.

The one we have right now was from FB’s marketplace, it was used and lasted only three years, so hoping to get a new one that can last longer lol. Thank you, didn’t think of Big Al, will consider that.

Fish Aquarium Recommendations

Anyone knows where to buy a 50-60 gallon fish tank with stand with reasonable price please besides Pet Smart? Ours started to leak last night and looking for getting a new one. Don’t have to be in Oakville.

Thank you for your suggestion. We tried something similar but didn’t work well. We have found someone to help us with it now.

No, please read my other comments. I’m only seeking advise because the town I live in does not accept hand drawing and I have no knowledge on this and only seeking advise of my best option to turn hand drawing into digital format. Not sure why you think this way. I clearly not posting the drawing that I have here and not asking any questions about anything specific from drawing. My question was general, only looking for advise from people who may have experience on this, which most responses I got here were helpful.

I didn’t break any rules. I only asked for advise on how to transfer a hand drawing into digital format, not asking for any advise on any designs.

No, scanning the drawing doesn’t count, that’s exactly what we did. We tried a few apps and tried to copy the drawing and transfer into digital format but it wouldn’t work. I think because there were many details in the drawing that the apps didn’t pick up. But we have found someone to do manually transfer the drawing for us into digital format, will see how it turns out. The whole thing is a mess because of the format of a drawing, and everything on the hand drawing was clearing indicated, very organized.

Just in digital format, not necessarily in CAD format.

Thank you for your comment. I can’t agree with you more. This is actually for Oakville and Town of Oakville only accept digital drawings even though the hand drawing that was done by the landscaped/pool company has already included all details required by the town, yet they won’t accept it. Both pool company and I spoke to the engineering department and they wouldn’t make an exception for that. The company is from Markham, so they’re not familiar with this particular rule with the town.

Thank you very much. I’m looking into the suggested apps.

Thank you for your advise. The pool company did the drawing, but by hand with all required info, but the town won’t accept hand drawing and requires everything digital. We also submitted the survey and the drawing has already included all required info by the town. All we need is a copy of the drawing in digital format.

Landscape hand drawing into digital drawing?

Looking for advise. What’s the best way to turn a landscape hand drawing into digital? Needs to apply for a pool permit and the city is not accepting hand drawing. Is there an app or software can read the drawing and transfer directly as digital? Or we have to hire someone to do it? No knowledge on this at all. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We had a bad experience with Walden, many issues came from miscommunications, very opinionated administrator causing my child with lots of stress while he was at that school (only for a couple years). Now they’re in public school at HDSB, thriving, loving their school life.

We didn’t have a good experience with Walden. We were in higher grades, switched from another private school because we moved. We found the school’s communication wasn’t great and the owner was very opinionated and not a good communicator. When there was an issue, instead of address the issue and look for the best solution, they tried to avoid the issues and moved on. The students’ turnover rate for lower grades are quite high, many have left the school and moved to other private schools after a couple years of enrollment.
