I think the books are a better experience than the movies, but that's just because it was bound to be this way, because of world-building and details that just couldn't fit into a 2 hour movie. That said, the movies really did an overall fantastic job, albeit with inevitable differences from the books, as well as little details and scenes that were made up for the movies but were not in the books. My question is: which things do you prefer in the movies than in the books?

For me, the way Ron speaks Parseltongue to open the Chamber of Secrets in DH is just better in the movies, where he says Harry sleep talks a lot, rather than in the books, where he just somehow repeats what Harry said once while opening the locket. Funnier and also more logical.

Also, when Molly kills Bellatrix: I absolutely loved that part in the book, but the way she just turns her to dust in the movies is way savage. Still, seriously speaking, it made far more sense for there to be a longer duel, and if Molly Weasley could just get rid of Voldemort's top lieutenant in 5 seconds many characters would have died for no reason. So actually more logical in the books but way more cinematic in the movies, as should be.

Lastly, again in DH, when McGonagall summons the suits of armor to fight for Hogwarts and says something like "I've always wanted to use this spell" is pretty cool.
