Lol this guy has no internal compass or any idea of who he is.

I moved to SD from a MCOL place. Im a high earner so I'm fine but my housing/lifestyle definitely took a hit.

But it's worth it to me. I'd legit rather struggle a little here than be middle class in some meh place.

LA is among, if not the very best food city in the US.

No I don’t have this issue.

Thanks but I lived within half a mile of Lake Michigan for 20 years. Both in Chicago and in Michigan. The difference here is that I can be objective.

Lake Michigan beaches are pretty underwhelming compared to coastal beaches and certainly don’t fit with OPs regenerative to “most beautiful beaches”.

The beaches aren't exactly great and they are only enjoyable like 3-4 months out of the year.

Lake Michigan is solid don't get me wrong but the beaches themselves aren't anything to note.

I could have qualified it with "on the same page financially" but I thouht that was clear given the topic and my comment about having friends of all ranges.

Not sure why you want to hang out specifically with rich people

A lot of rich people gravitate towards other rich people because they can afford to share the same lifestyle. If you're going to Monaco for a week many prefer to be with someone less financially constrained.

You absolutely shouldn't make friends strictly on the basis if money and having friends of all socio-economic groups is super valuable. But at the same time it's also valuable having a social circle that is on the same page.

My friend lives in SoCal and it took her 9 months to find a marketing job.

LA is full of marketing talent it's very competitive. Do what you're gonna do but know what you might be getting yourself into.

They gave Colby a title shot because he was a fucking backup fighter

The UFC absolutely isn't above giving Chandler a title shot for being a company man and trying to make the Conor fight work.

The are attracted to white men and probably divorced themselves and want someone who's gone through the same and can relate?

Scandalous!

I love Alex but he's kickboxer with relatively little wresting experience who until a year ago could make 185. Several opponents have taken him down etc.

Jones has been inactive so long half the fan base has no idea what he's capable of. He'll absolutely rag doll Alex and maul him on the ground. It's literally light work for JJ.

Zenga, Cucinelli, Jills Sander are sort of the go-to brands at the top of this category. For more approachable prices Todd Snyder is nice. Vince is still pretty good but the price:quality isn't what is used to be, still decent though.

Nintendo is a difficulty company to invest in because they are pretty unorthodox in how they run their business. They are absolutely an amazing company and at the top of their game, but they aren't the type of company to make decisions in order to return shareholder value.

If you want it as a passion investment that's fine. But it historically underperforms the SP500. There are much better things to invest in though.

It's maybe the most publicized or even pronounced in the US, but yes many parts of the developed world are experiencing more political upheaval/tension than in recent history. Germany, France, Italy, India, Russia etc

A lifelong kickboxer with minimal wrestling experience who at least as of a year ago could make 185lbs? I love Alex but he is light work for JJ.

Right. Summers are a little hot like anywhere else non-California. Thr offset is mild winters

Hey, fair response. Big James Murphy fan too. Maybe I'm losing my edge...

I stand by my point :)

Edit: Also you're wrong about house/Disco. But we should be friends.

There are places like Kentucky, Tennessee, North and South Carolina that have slightly more mild climates. Summers are still warm/hot but winters are pretty mild.

"I'm looking for a progressive city with a mild climate and great outdoor activities with a medium to low COL"

This sub: "Philly"

I actually would prefer the black leather Vans. I have a pair too and kinda wear them like boots.

But I think some simple clean low-top sneakers would look nice. Vans Canvas or a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths would look sharp.

I'm from Chicago and literally have been going to Movement in Detroit since it was a free concert called DEMF when I was 16. Trust me I'm aware.

You have a very basic understanding of Techno. I'm not trying to be a dick but you have no idea what you're talking about beyond "bbbbut Juan Atkins!" There is a wide range of music (electronic or otherwise) that Juan drew from and while Detroit-Techno set the groundwork for Techno t's hardly indicative of what Techno is today. Nevermind the influence of German Techno which developed along side Detroit music in the same time period. What you're doing is like trying to equate Rockabilly music with modern Rock. I could literally write an essay about this but whatever. You're right and I'm wrong.

I wish you well!

Happy to hear a "techno" track that isn't dance/4 on the floor and will gladly explain to you why it's not techno.
