As said before, bluetooth is not for stage use. Wireless IEM units use different bands of RF to transmit and receive signal. I've been using custom molded Alclair IEM for about a decade now. Currently using the RevX, with my trusty Tour Customs as backups. Ultimate Ears before that. I use a wired Shure to drive the headphones, since I play drums and hate having battery issues or spotty RF.

You're not overreacting. I played in a wedding band for around 10 years and we used at minimum 2x k10.2's and a sub. 150 people get loud with music playing, and you'll probably want some more sound reinforcement.

That said, it really just depends how loud and clear you want the band to be. My band had full production and the means to play a show to 300 people outside if needed. You don't NEED a lot to make a show happen, you just need more than that for it to sound good.

THANK YOU. Ordered and HDF the other day...now gonna return that for the street I just got.

I thought I saw that, but also that he was interested in rejoining Stu if he were to get a full band back together. I don't think we've seen the last of them.

Sturgill. The man doesn't even call the songs, he just starts them and Miles his drummer tells the rest of the band over talkback what's happening.

nextdoor, or your local FB community always worked best for me!

We had a lot of success with patches as an americana/indie rock outfit. Also foam fingers like at baseball games went like hotcakes.

I've seen this rate range for FOH/PM as a TM for the last couple years. Are you mixing down show files for content use, I would negotiate a rate for that if so. I'm assuming you're in a bus, but don't want to assume. As a member of crew that has a labor heavy job and also mental load before/after shows, I would ask for bunk preference. Also I would ask what per diems/catering deal is. My weekly pay would always got hit hard depending on the markets we were playing in if I had to pay for meals with a $20 pd. Value your work, comfort, mental integrity, and skills accordingly. Touring is rad, but rarely easy.

Are you strict about having a messenger style bag? I had the PD everyday messenger for a long while and it was neat, the organization was pretty great for camera things and little workflow help. But I ended up swapping it for a everyday backpack instead. having the organization and two straps really saves your shoulders if you're carrying for any length of time. That said, the PD gear is some of my favorites and I still use the messenger for weekend walkabouts and travel from time to time.
