I was in training for a medical cannabis dispo call center job during covid. I was answering calls in a common training room. I answered using my standard opening. This is so and so (first name only). Thank you for calling the dispo. The lady on the line starts loving me up on the phone and asking about my partner. I'm embarrassed to say it took me a minute to realize that I had been matched with a dear friend from my old life pre-pandemic who had recognized my distinctive voice immediately.
