Thankyou.discussion/question

When I was younger I never truly understood music. My parents were Christian for many of my earlier years, so only Christian music for a while, and after that they only really listened to the 3 songs from each of the 3 bands they 'liked'. Eventually they got me a Google Nest, and I used it the same way they did. I basically only ever told it to play whatever band's radio mix. Then, years later, when I was finally aloud to access the 'internet' (just very limited YouTube on the TV) I found a random song that wasn't basic kids shit, (I was well beyond the age where I'd find that stuff entertaining,) and it also wasn't from the three bands my parents would put on. This was via the video that explains Ruler of Everything.

I watched the video, (muting during the song so it would be my first time hearing it afterwards,) and then listened to the song. I loved it. It was the first time I understood music. All those years being brainwashed in music class by the most annoying songs you can imagine had, unfortunately, caused me to only bother to play bands, since I only knew band names that I liked and not the songs, and soon I lost the song.

Another year passed and among the random stuff recommended on my YouTube was the Banana Man video. I loved it, the weirdness of it was great. I didn't lose this one. Soon I found the video on Ruler of Everything again, and listened to the song again, loving it as I did before. In the end of the video there was a recommendation for The Moss by Cosmo Sheldrake. I ended up listening to that and liking it, and started listening to a mix of Cosmo Sheldrake and the two Tally Hall songs I knew.

I realized that somehow my two favorite songs were made by the same band, despite being very different. I hadn't really liked the idea of listening to a 'band' after what my parents did to me when I was younger, but I gave it a shot. Obviously, they became my favorite source of music.

Later I got into Rain World and found an animation with the music from The Mind Electric, and one with Introduction to the Snow. They got me into Miracle Musical eventually, and when I discovered they were a Tally Hall band my mind was blown. I also found the Oahu part two cover and listened to that a couple of times.

I watched The Ultimate Tally Hall Documentary and found out about Shia Labeouf Live that way and it was hilarious. I also found out about the hiatus that way.

When I created my Reddit account I joined the community and got so much more information about them from there. Got very happy :) (Thanks guys!)

Later I found a video that mentioned Good Day by Tally Hall and The Moss by Cosmo Sheldrake. I found out about Chonny Jash's covers from this, and loved them too. Now as I write this I'm listening to his music happily.

I found Aristotle's Denial and Rotary Park from a comment on someone's post and love them too. Despite not being a big fan of JHJH or Cojum Dip I still enjoyed a few of their songs, so I've slowly been expanding my collection of music. I also just last night found a 2 hour long video of their most obscure songs, so it really is growing fast!

Music has become my- escape.

She was poofed in this scene, but the mirror was made when she was mistaken for being a crystal gem, then she was cracked while people were running during the corruption.

I'm stealing this headcanon

It's supposed to be a marshmallow, but it does sorta look like the slugcat slime rancher art being made in the slugcat of the day series so I can see where you're coming from!

The clapping sound puts it off a bit, percussion style instruments aren't very common in a lot of Steven Universe music. Loved it tho, I would believe it was official!
