I think his ownership of X is more problematic than Tesla. It is full of alt right racist garbage and is probably radicalizing millions across the world.
If you’re networking savvy, I would go for Ruckus for networking. Synology for cameras and storage. Aqara is fine for sensors and switches. Amazon, I avoid because of privacy reasons.

They are trash for me, the Chime stops working randomly and I have to hard reset. I’ve missed packages as a result. It just started getting warm and they’ve already frozen up twice in a week and I’m on the latest firmware that should have addressed the heating issues supposedly.

I think the person is being a bit dramatic about the suitcases and amount of water, but I suspect his water problem is going to get worse over time as the seals age.
